Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

This recently restored boathouse will give you a real switch off from the modern world feel, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. In the countryside, the small road does not go beyond the tiny hamlet of three dwellings. The cottage is very close to the other two dwellings. It opens onto a lawn with a nice view of a pond of more than 1 ha. Ideal for unwinding, hiking, discovering a green area of forests and meadows where superb limousine cows graze. Saint Leonard de Noblat, the beautiful medieval city is 15 km away, Lake Vassivière is 20 minutes away, Lake Bujaleuf is 8 minutes away.
