Other rooms have been renovated but have retained their old charm. Fireplace and also wood stove. The house is located adjacent to another property where there are sheep and chickens. Fresh house with room for four people. Here you enjoy the best nature can offer, all year round. Read a book on the pier and swim in Lake Stora Aspen when it gets too hot. Pick mushrooms around the corner, bask on the jetty, walk on the ice, pimp a perch, hike the utility trail or enjoy doing absolutely nothing. Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects.
