Dave and Christina’s Airbnb was one of a kind, the aesthetics with the architecture and how everything is placed makes the whole experience feel cohesive. The attention to detail on the outside and the lightning as well as features such as heated floors go a long way towards creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. Also within the Airbnb David and Christina leave items such as fresh apple juice and milk, fresh baked cookies, and apricot jam. It’s definitely worth it and not to far from Rotorua. It has a walking trial on the lake that’s nearby, it’s a good morning walk. The views are amazing. David is very friendly as he greets you as you’re checking in and is accommodating to anything you need. Would highly recommend staying here.

This is a fabulous cottage to stay in, very comfortable and well-looked after. Joanne is a very friendly and most accommodating host, extends a very warm welcome and makes you feel right at home. The cottage is wonderfully located on the banks of the Ngongotaha Stream with great views of the surrounding countryside and we found very pleasant lakeside and streamside walks right out the door. We were also amazed at the great many fun things to see and do in the area. This is a great place to relax and for fostering rejuvenation of the soul.

I really recommend staying at Barb's place, it's got everything you would need for a short or longer stay. There's lots to do in the area and Barb gave some great recommendations and helpful information. As a host Barb is the best I've ever had, fast response time, friendly and very helpful, she really goes above and beyond!
