Amazing place. Highly recommend!

A fantastic place with a gorgeous view. Perfect for a couple of days, had everything we needed! Parking is an adventure but it's doable and you receive clear instructions! (Neighbour also on hand to help with parking if needed haha). Overall, wonderful place and would highly recommend

We had a very pleasant time with Maria, very friendly, helpful host. Beautiful surroundings. You look out over the beautiful mountains, which is a delight to every moment of the day of against. You will really relax . Highly recommended! We would love to come back ☺️

Beautiful spacious Villa. Great outdoor space with pool, bbq and an outdoor toilet. And of course stunning views. All bedrooms were stocked with clean towels and bedding. There were lots of glasses, plates and cooking utensils. Because it’s private we could play music and not disturb any neighbours. Fantastic stay!

Very nice stay very nice very comfortable house

Colette's place is an absolute dream. It is in the middle of beautiful nature, nestled in a cork oak forest – perfect for unwinding and hiking. The house is stylishly furnished, very well equipped and offers every imaginable comfort. The beds are incredibly comfortable – we rarely slept so well! We would also like to emphasize Colette's parents who live right next door: very warm, helpful and at the same time pleasantly reserved. You definitely need a car, but that's worth it for this retreat full of peace and quiet. We will be happy to come back!

A charming characterful house, absolutely gorgeous pool, surrounded by pretty garden, sunny and shady spots to relax with lovely views and a breeze. It suited our family of five adults very well. Hiking and running out of the door, shady terrace for yoga, and a great restaurant near enough to walk to. We all had a fantastic holiday and talked about how much we'd like to return. This is a special place.

Ellis and Camilla are always smiling, so welcoming, kind and accommodating. The location is a little green paradise in the middle of nowhere - great for some peace and to reconnect with nature. It seems to attract a certain kind of person, as we found all the other guests to be extremely nice people and really enjoyed overlapping with them for meals. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat (and some fantastic star gazing). There are also two very sweet dogs who are keen to guide you down their favourite walks!

The villa has an incredible view overlooking the mountains—one of the best I've seen. It is also dog-friendly, with plenty of closet space and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor grill is a highlight! Great communication from the host, who was responsive and helpful.

Nice house with an absolutely gorgeous view in pictoresque, quiet surroundings. Well-kept pool, nice terrace to the south. Useful fireplace with a good supply of firewood for those chilly early-Spring evenings. In terms of supplies, be prepared to bring just about everything with you. The only things provided were dish-washing liquid, tablets for the dish machine, and two rolls of toilet paper. No salt, pepper, oil or any other usual Airbnb-leftover amenities.

This space is special, peaceful and calming. Great space to get away but not feel totally isolated. It was lovely to be received by a human being and shown around and all questions asked. 5 min drive into monchique town or 30min walk max. There's a fab coffee place that does the best homemade natas! it is opposite the cycling coffee place! enjoy

Easy communication and amazing location! Highly recommend.

Judite's place was very charming and had an amazing view. It was very peaceful and had everthing you needed. We didnt rent a car but used Uber, taxis and the local bus to get to neighbouring towns and even a day trip to the little fishing town Alvor. Judite responded quickly to all our queries before and during our trip. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Lavender cottage.

We had wonderful stay at Ellis and Camilla's Rural Escapes. The space and accommodation was incredible and the attention the hosts gave us was caring and unique. We absolutely recommend the bread and pizza dough they cook and having the possibility to attend to Camilla yoga classes was a precious gift. Thank you again for everything. We hope to visit again soon. :))

Beautiful home with very tasteful decor in a quaint part of the Algarve. Great location if you plan to discover the Algarve by car. I would definitely book this home again
