Amazing place. Highly recommend!

A wonderful few days spent near Monchique. Peaceful, well equipped, comfortable, great communication. Definitely need a car as 5 km from the town. Swimming pool clean and tidy, lots of seating possibilities. Would love to go back. Very private too although we were the only people there.

Amazing home and a great host will definitely be back next times

We had a great stay! The house is spacious and beautifully designed, and the pool area was perfect for relaxing. The quiet, beautiful natural surroundings and the high level of privacy made it even more special. Communication with the host was smooth and quick. There’s a bit of minor maintenance needed in some areas, but overall, we really enjoyed our time and would definitely come back.

Loes and Mario gave us a warm welcome on arrival. The accommodation was just as described, a beautiful, quiet and relaxing location. Very private with lots of outdoor space to use. Comfortable accommodation with everything you need for a great holiday. Nothing was too much trouble, a lovely warm and welcoming couple. Had the added extra joy of their two beautiful and very well behaved dogs and playful cat. Look forward to our next trip as we will definitely want to stay with them again. Can't thank them enough for making our stay very relaxing and comfortable. xx

Beautiful spacious Villa. Great outdoor space with pool, bbq and an outdoor toilet. And of course stunning views. All bedrooms were stocked with clean towels and bedding. There were lots of glasses, plates and cooking utensils. Because it’s private we could play music and not disturb any neighbours. Fantastic stay!

I've been looking forward to writing this review since we checked in. Catarina and Antonio's house is absolutely amazing. As my wife said when she first saw it, the pictures don't do it justice, it is one of the few places that look even better in real life than it does in the pictures. Beautifully decorated, amazing land for hiking around the property, extremely peaceful and Antonio was so helpful and responsive at all times. I would recommend this property to anybody looking for peace and quiet but still close enough to all possible amenities. Thank you Catarina and Antonio!

This villa is pure magic. Every space is thoughtfully designed to be the best spot, blending comfort, elegance, and effortless living. As a family of seven, we found everything we needed exactly when we needed it — as if by magic. It wasn’t just a place to stay; it was a true sanctuary that recharged us for all our adventures. The house, the surroundings, and the care put into every detail made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended to anyone looking for peace, beauty, and simple joy.

Marco's accommodation was really great. 9/10 points - why: I thought, according to the photos, that it was the neighboring house with a pool. We were on the first floor and actually I prefer to stay on the ground floor with my 5 year old son, which unfortunately was not quite clear. Top was: not even 5 minutes walk to the beach, great restaurants on the beach, expensive supermarket just around the corner. The apartment is super clean and the kitchen has everything you absolutely need for self-catering but nothing more, no pasta strainer and no lemon squeezer, for example. Tableware also minimally from the number of pieces (6 glasses). Marco and his mom are super nice and helpful at check-in, furthermore we did not need them, as it was not our first Portugal vacation. Price-performance with pool top - you can't rule anything out. Portimão is a great location, 50 minutes by car from Faro Airport and 30 minutes from Lagos. Best regards, Jessica & Family.

Bruno’s place was exactly what was advertised. 10 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Europe and 10 minutes to city center. Perfect for my family and our short trip to Lagos. Bruno communicated daily and gave some tips about what to do in Lagos. Overall a great stay and would book again.

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kasia's place. Kasia was extremely helpful with providing us with invaluable information regarding things to do and places to go whilst in Lagos. We would definitely stay there again.

Delighted: location & pool and view from the balcony (very private). Bolt from train / town €3-5. Apartment is basic, outdoor furniture looks new. Marcos & Elaine take pride & care of the apartment . Elaine baked Pastel de Nata, truly the best I’ve had to date in Portugal. The only frustration, advertising a coffee maker, and not say it requires “special sized coffee pods” or where to get them. I specifically asked at check in about the pods, Marcos agreed they were there, neither one of us looked in the box. An hour later, noticed only a few pods & I messaged Marco showing him a photo & he said that was all they provide for the Welcome Gift, no advice of “how or where” to get more pods. This is very disappointing, advertisement with photo of a proper coffee maker for the duration of paid stay yet guest can’t use the coffee maker the entire stay. Also saying that there is “Instant” coffee provided is not acceptable. Restaurant downstairs has real coffee, felt like being at a hotel.

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Carlota’s place is located in amazing Villa with beautiful surroundings! Amazing beaches to get to and her local recommendations were excellent ! The pool was great but unfortunately due to the weather it was a bit too cold to use and shower facilities were under construction. The only downside is the bed option, as described from the picture, the main bedroom is with 2 twin beds and a sofa bed. One big bed would’ve been more comfortable but breathtakingly beautiful view makes everything ok. We had some issue with laundry machine as it wasn’t in a good condition but we cleaned it and bought strong scent laundry detergent made it usable again! Wonderful memories from the beautiful landscape and activities and especial thanks to warm and heart full neighbor downstairs! Thank you again and it was a pleasant stay!

The apartment is immaculate and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It’s the second time we have stayed at one of Willem’s apartments and he is an excellent reliable host. Highly recommend! The town of Carvoeiro allows access to a multitude of good restaurants and the walks along the cliffs are spectacular.

Incredible stay in this beautiful villa hosted by Wilson. We had such an amazing time! The view is simply magnificent, there is plenty of room and seating areas to enjoy it every minute of the day. We had the pool heated and it was totally worth it. Note if you are travelling with kids, there is a small separated part of the pool that is PERFECT for toddlers. Wilson was such a great host, starting from the Booking. He gave us plenty of suggestions and tips to make the most out of our stay and he welcomed us with a welcome basket which was much appreciated as we just arrived from our night flight. Everything was super clean and there was even everything you need to enjoy the pool and the beach with kids. Don’t look further, if you have a car, this villa is the best base to explore the Algarve. We would happily come back!

Absolutely idyllic! Our stay at this Airbnb was perfect, especially with our 1-year-old. The host thoughtfully provided so many essentials, including a high chair, cot, and even a baby bath, which made our trip incredibly easy and comfortable. The place itself is just beautiful. We loved the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The grassy area was fantastic, and the pool was surprisingly bigger than we anticipated, offering plenty of space to relax. With loungers available both upstairs and down, there were always comfortable spots to unwind. Having a car was definitely a bonus for exploring, as everything we needed was literally just 5 to 10 minutes away. While you could walk to some places, a car made getting around super convenient. It was also very easy to get to from Faro Airport. We couldn't have asked for a better, more relaxing, and truly idyllic getaway!

We had a wonderful holiday, a much needed peaceful and enjoyable time. The house was well situated, not overlooked at all. This meant that we could enjoy the pool whenever we wanted. My (older) kids absolutely loved it and have insisted ‘our next holiday cannot be in a hotel’. We hired a car so we did lots of exploring. The Intermarché supermarket was fantastic but there is also a well stocked Spar shop a walk away. The house was very clean and tidy, the kitchen had plenty of equipment, including a dishwasher and a large fridge. It isn’t shiny and overly modern but that simply added to the charm. I highly recommend it.

We stayed here as a family with my mother and father in law also. So much of space for the 6 of us. The games room was a great place to spend the evenings playing pool and darts. The swimming pool and outdoor space was fabulous. The kids were rarely out of the pool and loved the paddle board that was available for them to uses. Kids also loved picking grapefruits for breakfast and lemons for our drinks. Slightly issue with one of the toilets being out of order and the water going off (due to nearby construction) but host had forewarned us this may occur. We had a lovely family holiday.

I wish every Airbnb host could be as great as Joana! The best stay I have ever had by far!! The home is so cozy and in a great location. All the snacks and stocked fridge was very much appreciated and convenient so we did not have to leave every time we were hungry. 1000% recommend staying here, worth every penny!!!!!!

This place was amazing! Beautiful pool, walk to the ocean and amazing beaches. lots of room inside and out. some negatives are the beds are very FIRM! No dishwasher pucks were left, 3 tiny bars of soap, 3 tiny containers for dish washing. Also no extra toilet paper. It really goes a long way to supply the little things, ei hand soap, dish soap, and pucks for dishwasher,extra toilet paper! Maybe paper towels. More than 1 tea towel would have been good also.

We had a pleasant stay, we will gladly go back.
