This is a real gem of a place to stay. A few kilometres outside Sougia in a beautifully quiet and peaceful spot on the hill surrounded by olive trees. The Eco House is very special. It has a kind of scandi aesthetic; everything is very beautiful down to the last detail. We wished we had such beautiful plates and bowls and lamps at home! It is also a very comfortable place to stay with everything you might possibly need and was exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfy and the bed sheets smelt gorgeous! However, the most special thing about this place is Corinne. One of the warmest, loveliest people you are likely to meet. She has obviously poured her heart into the Eco House and you can feel it. Corinne was incredibly welcoming and also gave us invaluable advice about what to do locally and how best to do it. THANK-YOU CORINNE. We will definitely be back!

Stelios’s home is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed! The pictures looked almost too good to be true but true they are! This place is a gem right on the water with everything you could possibly need. We so enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again!

I can’t say enough good things about Amalen. I found it on Air B & B and so I expected almost no interaction. Our stay was 5 star in every way. Jacob and the rest of the staff cared for us. They were so helpful. The breakfast was amazing and each day they knew we were headed out, they packed us a to go box…even on our day of departure. We had the best time and if ever in Crete would only stay with them again.

Loutro and its environs proved to be a special place and Harito Loutro was simply the best, made that way by the superb setting, the amazing view over Loutro Bay and beyond, the spacious sun deck, the fine restoration of the ancient building, the comfort and usefulness of the facilities but, most of all, by the excellent hosting by Kathy who was on hand when needed to provide recommendations, advice and assistance, and stories galore. Her attention to our needs was outstanding and we found her to be a most interesting person whose companionship we enjoyed over the days we were there. Thanks Kathy for delivering the experience you promised. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. This place is absolutely amazing. My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Aikaterinis apartment and we were completely satisfied. The inside provides everything what we needed. The description was absolutely accurate. The fridge is very spacious and there is a freezer as well. We cooked quite a lot therefore this was very helpful for us. The pool outside is very clean and also the temperature was perfect for the hot days in Greece. You can really relax at this place because there is not a lot of tourism at this area on Crete. Also the beach in front of the house is quite nice. We put our hammock under some trees and were watching the sunrise over Paleochora. I can totally recommend this apartment, especially for couples who want some relaxing time and together.

Absolutely stunning Airbnb - the views are as pictured. Loved waking up to the sea. The rooms were cleaned and beautifully maintained by the cleaning lady. We were just two in this two bedroom so we had space to spread out but it could easily accommodate four. Loved having breakfast on the balcony with the view of the village and the ocean.
