Carol and George’s Shepherd hut is a little piece of heaven. It is tucked away in a quiet place between fields and mountains with endless views and sunshine. We could hear nothing but the birdsong and cattle. The garden is private and has the most stunning sunset view. We could not have asked for a better break from the bustling city life. Carol and George gave us a warm welcome on arrival which was a sweet personal touch. We would definitely return!!

What a wonderful place! Close to some fabulous walks and Peter's recommended an Italian which is the best I have tasted in a long time. Lovely garden to look out to in the morning and listen to the birds. Just a peaceful and restful place. Thank you

This little gem was quiet, and a great place for a nice night or few away. Hot tub was great, especially for the price we paid as a lot of other places were extortionate. Our carriage was very private in the corner and we heard no noise during our stay and slept very comfortably and felt safe through - very comfy beds too, we all slept great! Joey was an extremely good host, allowed us to check in early, very responsive to any questions we had and greeted us when he saw us on the site. Only downside was the pub close by wasn’t great, nothing to do with the actual site though as it’s not run by them but the atmosphere in there wasn’t great and the staff were not too friendly either - cheap drinks, but very expensive food £15-25 for one meal. We drove to a chip-shop called “The Old Stables Fish and Chip shop” which was amazing, our whole meal for 3 people came to £29, with huge portions too - food was absolutely delicious and we ate them in our private garden at the carriage. Great place

Absolutely gorgeous location! We had the best weekend staying here and will definitely be back. The accommodation is described, very clean and cosy with comfortable sleeping and nice hot shower. The hot tub was amazing and additional facilities on site were a great bonus. The shop down the road lived up to expectations and managed to get a very nice pint and meal at the local pub. Would 100% recommend!

Stayed in the herdwick. The cabin was amazing, and really cosy and warm. This was needed for a feb trip! Facilities were great and everything in the description was correct. Pub with in walking distance does nice food and reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning.

We have had a lovely few days staying here. Was exactly as described and we made use of the hot tub and fire pit every day. The communal building would be very useful on wet days or larger gatherings. Will come back another time.

Wow! pretty much sums up the Otter Pod! We stayed here for a couple of nights for my husband's birthday, looking for a quiet spot to get some relaxation in, and this place had everything we needed and more. The pod is delightful. Everything you need is there with some really thoughtful touches too with the goodies left. Thank you! Everything was spotlessly clean too. Hot tub, BBQ, seating areas all perfect and really made the stay special. The view was incredible, and lovely to see horses playing in the fields in front. The pod was very private with it's own piece of field with parking space. Easy to find with perfect instructions. Lovely local pubs with recommendations from the host. Great cider tour in Weston Cider mill down the road, and visited Ledbury and Hereford, both great to wander around. The hosts were really welcoming, responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back to the Otter Pod, we loved our stay and didn't want to leave. Thank you Andrew and Victoria

This was a perfect stay for my mum and myself in an area we love and visit regularly. Everything was so easy…parking right outside, immaculate accessible bathroom, welcome snacks and the most stunning views. We were happy to sit outside on the swing seat and enjoy the countryside and the peace of nature. Right on the doorstep though there is a vineyard, garden centre, walks and cycling opportunities. This was a really positive experience and can’t wait to visit again. Thanks so much to Karen for her hard work and kindness.

The cabin was absolutely amazing! Exceeded all expectations. It was a beautiful, peaceful location with amazing views. Amazing hot tub too! The hosts definitely thought of everything, kitchen was so well kitted out. Top tip, grab some food to keep you going from the shops in Abbergaveny on the way up!

Our second visit and it won’t be our last. Perfect for visiting Bath and Cheddar Gorge. Exactly as described. Warm and cozy all night. We love your Pretty Shed and will recommend to all. Thanks for having us again.

We loved our stay here - quirky and unusual, but felt right at home! Gorgeous views. The hot tub was easy to set up with clear instructions, and enough logs to last us our stay. The natural pool was beautiful and had lovely newts and felt very calm. Check-in and out instructions were very clear, and we had all the facilities we needed.

The cabin was absolutely lovely, very well kitted out and bags of charm. The host went to some lengths to make it welcoming with three vases of freshly cut flowers, croissants, prosecco, granola, oat milk and a hand written card. I also appreciated the books on foraging and nature and the binoculars. The location was stunning with views across the valley to watch buzzards, foxes and rabbits through the large windows. Great walks straight from the cabin. Ludlow nearby was fantastic to visit, as was Worcester.

This was a beautiful place - secluded, unique and just as described. The bed was comfortable and I loved the artistic touches throughout the spaces. I also loved walking by and interacting with all the animals on the farm. Would love to go back!

I loved my stay at Paul's place. The accommodation is beautiful - a really special space has been created. It's homely and comfortable, private and a real inside-outside feel.

A truly magical place, a real gem. Plenty of things to go and see in the surrounding areas. Being able to go and have cider straight from the farm was such a treat. The hosts were more than hospitable and really made us feel at home. Extremely friendly people and animals, would definitely go again, highly recommend.

Beautiful place! Photos don’t do it justice. All me and partner spoke about is how it would be a dream to live here. Amber was so helpful and left us more than we needed to have a great time!

On arrival we was met by Mike and the 5 adorable dogs was like home from home as I have 6 of my own, Mike showed us round an how to use hot tub left us to it an wow the cabin the bathroom everything immaculate and so cosy,as for hot tub wow another level relaxed us so much!!! Charlie the dog became our new bestie he was adorable they all was, our stay was cut short due to an emergency at home so I will definitely be back probs again and again

The "Pod" was a very peaceful location to spend three nights whilst walking the adjacent Offa's Dyke Path.... spending evenings on front of the supplied fire pit (bring your own logs) made it magical, shame we had night time cloud cover as I was looking forward to star gazing 😀 Hannah responded immediately when an issue did arise with the hot water, but it was sorted by Sam within the day. Highly recommended 👍

The most beautiful stay in Ivan’s shepherds hut. Amazing location close to everything you’d want in the wye valley and you’re completely surrounded by nature when there. It’s got everything you could need and was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend. Could not recommend enough!

Beautiful place to stay which is a little bit different. All amenities catered for, over and above what was stated. Quirky set up with the cabin bed which was a hit with the kids. The kids have already asked if we can go back.

We needed a peaceful retreat from our busy lives and The sugar hut was perfect! Peaceful and serene but within a fantastically short distance to Abergavenny town which has everything you need! A compact place to stay but with everything you need and clever storage! The outdoor kitchen was perfect and the hot tub is a fantastic addition to help unwind whilst looking at the beautiful view! We’ve come home feeling refreshed and relaxed which is exactly what we wanted !

We stayed for one night in this beautiful location. The host Jo was very responsive and the accommodation was very nice. Highly recommend!
