House holiday rentals in Monona

We just completed an amazing getaway here at Lisa’s place. The pictures do not do this beautiful home justice. Everything is even better than presented. The kitchen is phenomenal - with every appliance, cook/bake/serveware you can imagine, and a perfect focal place for gatherings. Each room is cozy and homey - and there are so many hidden gems! The bedrooms were elegant yet amazingly comfortable for resting. And the location is super easy to access Madison while offering quiet & peace for morning & evening walks (added bonus if you bring your pup!). Finally and maybe best of all, Lisa is a perfect host!! Immediately responsive, really helpful with questions, and she offered terrific recommendations that we took up & thoroughly enjoyed. We all loved everything about our stay & plan to come back!

The stay was perfect and ideal for a peaceful getaway. Plenty of space to accommodate a good sized group. We were provided easy access to the home along with equipment such as fishing poles and chairs. I will definitely be back again!

This was our third time staying at this house and it was still easy, convenient, and with everything we needed. The location is great for accessing some of the local ski resorts, and there were enough bedrooms and space to accommodate three families and a gaggle of kids. The whole process was easy and Brittney was responsive and helpful the whole time. Looking forward to returning next year!

We had such a great stay! The host went above and beyond, they called us ahead of time to see if we had any questions or needed anything, which was such a nice touch. They also checked in via text on the day we arrived and again on check-out day to make sure everything went smoothly. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed, and it felt like a home away from home. Our kids especially loved the game room and had a blast running around and playing in the spacious yard. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing and fun family getaway during our stay for a wedding. Us adults really enjoyed the views of the river and all the different seating areas.

This house was incredible! There was tons of space, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We brought 4 children, and the layout of the house was perfect for naptimes. We were a 20 to 30-minute drive from skiing, restaurants, and other outings. We were there during an incredibly cold weekend, but we could imagine how fun it would be to stay there in the warmer months with the pool and outdoor area!

We really enjoyed our stay at Chris's beautiful home. The location is private and quiet yet close to everything we needed. The amenities made it comfortable for our family to gather, dine and play. Thank you, Chris!

Wonderful place to stay! Very clean and comfortable. Also, it has blackout curtains in the bedroom, so sleeping was wonderful. Host was very responsive to questions, and incredibly welcoming! Will likely be staying here again. Highly recommend!

Easy, comfortable, and fun home. This place was great for our two families with 4 kids under 9 years. We could have easily had a 3rd family stay with us too. The kids were entertained for hours, leaving the parents to relax and enjoy each other’s company. And bonus, this place is directly across the road from a playground! We’ll definitely book this place again. Highly recommend!

very cool mid-century decor and filled with everything you might possibly need during your stay. the host was very responsive to messages. I was attending a wedding at Wildwood Cottage and this was an excellent lodging option for me. definitely would recommend to anyone staying in the area who appreciates a vintage vibe.

Very nice place for family stay in Monona. Especially nice kitchen space and amenities. Our family really enjoyed the screened patio and backyard space, as well as adorable friendly cat.

This is one of the most aesthetically gorgeous, peaceful and unique Airbnb experiences I've enjoyed. What an absolutely lovely sanctuary of light, simplicity, and calm refuge just 30 minutes drive through rolling farmland, woods and wetlands from downtown Madison and the UW campus. The indoor fireplace and hot tub are such fabulous highlights! I loved every aspect of the orchard house including Josh's proactive tips and quick responses to a couple of minor questions I had. This was a really lovely place to spend a long weekend. I will be back and have already told all my friends about it. Bravo!

This is a gem if you like to walk to local restaurant have access to all the stores you need and a need to feel surrounded by nature. The master bedroom was so wonderful with a screen door to leave open at night for fresh air, also a small balcony to view the water from bedroom. We left the outdoor summer lights on the deck that somehow reflected on the ceiling of the master bedroom at night it left a beautiful light pattern, magical place, to see turtles, birds and we saw a heron as we left the house, resting on the dock. Great location and amazing hosts! We had dinner on the grill with music it was simply perfect.- Thanks, again to our hosts! Worth it!

The house was well equipped and child friendly. The area was charming . We would recommend it to anyone visiting Madison

I had an extended stay at Brian's property and all worked very well. The property was very clean and as indicated in the photos. Just be aware that stays do not include use of any of the garages. I had assumed access based on the photos while realizing later that it did not say explicitly that use of the garages is included. This property is very private and is perfect for a summer getaway. Very short drive into town ~2 mins with access to a grocery store, restaurants, Walgreen's, etc. The furniture and interior decorating is very nice. I would stay again if needed.

We were in town for a family friends wedding and needed a place to stay for the night. This was a perfect stay for us! Had everything we needed and Laura was very kind. This was the first place we stayed where the host wrote a welcome card and had a basket of goodies waiting. It was very thoughtful!

We spent the weekend here and enjoyed the house, especially our time hanging out in the yard and on the back deck! The house was very clean and thoughtfully prepared for guests. We appreciated the blackout shades, comfortable beds, and relaxing vibe. And having a garage space was very convenient!

Conveniently located for our granddaughter’s graduation at Monona Grove High School and graduation party at Mc Carthy Youth and Conservation Park Cottage Grove. Lovely neighborhood. Highly recommended

Kevin was a great host! He welcomed us with a nice gift as a welcome to Wisconsin. He was communicating well with us on the trip. The place was beautiful! It was so peaceful and very quiet. We were just a short walk to the town which was such a cute town with a great antique store and coffee shop! (You must go to the coffee shop!) The house had so many fun things to do. I personally enjoyed the basketball court the most! Many games to play and a great fire pit. The fridge was so much fun to draw on and listen to music throughout the kitchen area. If you plan on a get away trip or a short distance away from Madison I suggest you stay here!

Alex’s place was far better then staying at a hotel. We were visiting family and attending a wedding. Perfect location. Alex had everything that we needed. We will defiantly book again. Thank you.

Very nice place to spend a week, neighborhood is quite peaceful and the noise is low. Veasna’s place was exactly as advertised and included everything we needed or wanted. Just take in consideration this a small drive to Madison but this was not an issue for us.

Our group had a wonderful stay! The fully stocked kitchen was great. It had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed both the deck and the spacious lower level for hanging out, and that it was in a quiet neighborhood. We highly recommend staying here!
