Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Monona

The building is very cute. We arrived late but check in was easy and William is responsive on whatever we need. Unfortunately, there were a few things missing from what described but William was able to rectify it quickly. It is quite peaceful and great place to come with our pets. We saw some deers and lots of birds. Only 12 minutes drive to Lake Geneva which also provided lots of walking area with our pups.

We were in town for a family friends wedding and needed a place to stay for the night. This was a perfect stay for us! Had everything we needed and Laura was very kind. This was the first place we stayed where the host wrote a welcome card and had a basket of goodies waiting. It was very thoughtful!

We spent the weekend here and enjoyed the house, especially our time hanging out in the yard and on the back deck! The house was very clean and thoughtfully prepared for guests. We appreciated the blackout shades, comfortable beds, and relaxing vibe. And having a garage space was very convenient!

Very nice place for family stay in Monona. Especially nice kitchen space and amenities. Our family really enjoyed the screened patio and backyard space, as well as adorable friendly cat.

Lovely and peaceful! Everything and more, enjoyed the stay and relaxation. Didn’t cook but plenty of options for doing so. I love stays that have laundry on site but was only there overnight so didn’t need it but great amenity for longer stays. The front porch is adorable, back deck is private and inviting. Really loved the mini vacation at Serenity Cottage! The history of the place is apparent and humbling, hope everyone that stays there appreciates that. Also board games! Love that touch and coffee was good! Definite win! Pet friendly was awesome!

Kevin was a great host! He welcomed us with a nice gift as a welcome to Wisconsin. He was communicating well with us on the trip. The place was beautiful! It was so peaceful and very quiet. We were just a short walk to the town which was such a cute town with a great antique store and coffee shop! (You must go to the coffee shop!) The house had so many fun things to do. I personally enjoyed the basketball court the most! Many games to play and a great fire pit. The fridge was so much fun to draw on and listen to music throughout the kitchen area. If you plan on a get away trip or a short distance away from Madison I suggest you stay here!

We had a great stay at Lexi’s place. The view is great and the house had everything we needed to make ourselves at home for the week. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Our first time in Delafield and loved it!! Adorable little lake town with so many cute restaurants, coffee shop and ice cream just a short walk away. Elizabeth's home was exactly what we needed for a month long mother/daughter stay while attending treatment in the area. Meticulously clean at check-in and decorated so cute with finest attention to detail! So warm and cozy providing a perfect sanctuary. Elizabeth was flexible and responsive in all communication prior to and during our stay, and quickly addressed an Internet hiccup, ensuring the issue was resolved for us. Can't wait to return and highly recommend Elizabeth and this adorable gem of a home!!

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cabin! It’s rustic in all the right ways—full of charm and character—but also very clean and well maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The property is a real gem. One of our favorite parts was fishing off the pier—we caught lots of small bass and even landed a 4–5 pounder! The pool and gazebo were also wonderful spots to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Noam was welcoming and friendly, which made the experience even better. We recommend checking out this spot if you’re looking to unplug, enjoy the outdoors, and stay somewhere that’s both comfortable and unique!

Joan's daughter, Rebekah, communicated directly with me through the Airbnb app. She provided detailed check-in instructions, a phone number to contact her, etc. It seems Rebekah lives in Hawaii so please keep note of that for response times, etc. The house was comfortable, very clean, and well-appointed. Joan and Rebekah have a beautiful collection of original art, artifacts, etc. so please keep that in mind if you are bringing small children to the home. Please note that the 1st floor bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom; and the lower level has 2 twin beds in the open area, 1 full bed and 1 twin bed in the first bedroom, and 1 full bed and 1 futon in the second bedroom (including a full laundry and utility room in a closed room).

Scott’s place was very nice! It was updated and clean. With the 3 bedrooms, it was a good home for our multigenerational family to have the space to come together at times and have the space we needed to spread out. The bottom bedroom was a bit chilly due to all of the beautiful, large windows, however, we found extra covers that allowed us to make due. I would suggest if you’re coming in the cooler months to bring warmer pajamas to sleep in. Thanks, Scott!

Wonderful place to stay! Very clean and comfortable. Also, it has blackout curtains in the bedroom, so sleeping was wonderful. Host was very responsive to questions, and incredibly welcoming! Will likely be staying here again. Highly recommend!

Debbie was very communicative before and during our stay. The property has plenty of yard room for outdoor activities and we loved that we didn’t feel stacked up against a bunch of other houses. The driveway can accommodate a group of cars and we loved the reclining couch in the basement. I’d highly recommend this property.

Conveniently located for our granddaughter’s graduation at Monona Grove High School and graduation party at Mc Carthy Youth and Conservation Park Cottage Grove. Lovely neighborhood. Highly recommended

Liz was very responsive and very kind. She made the space feel cozy and relaxing. She was incredibly nice and checked in throughout our stay. The detail and thought put into the Airbnb made our time there memorable and relaxing, including extras for our dog staying with us. I would highly recommend this space for anyone coming to the area.

We had a wonderful time at the Cottage Grove Barndominium. We were in town with our two dogs to spend time with our kids that attend UW. The home is quite unique and very comfortable; it was also much cleaner than a hotel room. Travis made sure we had everything we needed and reached out to us from time to time to make sure all was well. He responded to texts very quickly although there really wasn’t anything that we needed, it was all taken care of from the start. The area is peaceful and relaxing. A great getaway!

We loved our stay at Tricia’s whimsical, boho home. The artistic, multi-level layout was perfect for celebrating my daughter’s 5th birthday weekend. The space had plenty of room, creative decor, and nostalgic touches like the Wii, which my kids loved. My daughter was able to relax with Bluey upstairs while I prepped meals and unwound after our days exploring nearby Madison. We visited the Madison botanical gardens, children’s museum, and Capitol, and enjoyed two local diners with great food and reasonable prices. A couple of great surprises made the trip even more special: Fireman’s Park across the street had an outdoor movie night (Moana 2), food trucks, a splash pad, and an updated playground. Tricia also surprised my daughter with birthday cupcakes and a gift card to Woolly’s Snack Shop, where we got ice cream on our way home. Lots of sleeping options, games, and puzzles made the home even better. Tricia was super communicative and we’d definitely stay again.

Such a great little neighborhood! Clean, comfortable, and everything we needed. We'll be back!

I travel to the Madison area for work often and have stayed at Kathryn’s place a few times. The rental is the full second floor of a home in DeForest, a quiet little village not far outside Madison. It’s a clean, well-equipped, comfortable unit, with a private entrance, that makes a great base for exploring DeForest and the broader Madison area. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Chris’ place was worth every penny. The apartment was private and quiet while being so near to all the city has to offer. Killer restaurants and parks within short walking distance and the balcony overlooking the lake was the perfect place to have dinner. We parked the car and didnt feel the need to drive it anywhere once we got in - just walked the neighborhood.
