This Airbnb was, without a doubt, the best my wife & I have ever stayed at. The house was spotless, cozy, & perfectly located with breathtaking views of Tuscany—but what truly made it unforgettable was Riccardo & his amazing family. From the moment we arrived, Riccardo went above & beyond to make us feel at home. When our rental car plans fell through, he stepped in without hesitation, becoming our personal driver. He took us grocery shopping, showed us around Chianti, & even drove us to Florence twice. Riccardo was always responsive, kind, & genuinely cared about our experience. We didn’t just find a beautiful place to stay—we found warmth, hospitality, & a real connection that made us feel like family. This stay was worth every dollar & more. A true home away from home. If we ever return to Tuscany, it will definitely be with Riccardo.

It was special treat to be welcomed by Laura when we arrived. She was a great hostess. We felt very comfortable in the spacious surroundings which included an outdoor terrace with expansive views across the Garfagnana valley. As we didn't have a car we walked into Barga which is about 20 minutes. Barga offers shops, restaurants and art galleries. I found lots of opportunities to do some painting around the old town and walks to nearby villages. We loved Barga and are keen to return.

Hands down our favorite part of our two weeks in Italy! Casa Al Poggio was our Tuscan home away from home. We went and did all the things… Florence, Cinque Terre, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, etc. But coming “home” to this place was the best. So peaceful and picturesque looking across the valley at the Badia Di Passignano. We cooked many meals in the well stocked kitchen and my husband loved the rustic BBQ. Fresh herbs in the garden and the smell of jasmine blooming on the patio. Book yourself extra time here…you won’t want to leave! Emanuele & Tamara are the kindest people. Take them up on all of their restaurant recommendations. Everyone one was a hit! We can’t wait to go back.

Such a beautiful spot to explore the beautiful scenery and villages of Tuscany

Beautiful accommodation in a splendid location! A caring and very kind host! The bedding is super comfortable and the accommodation is as shown in the photos. Breakfast is awesome! You can go there without a second thought!

Lovely little place, perfect for a couple. Very peaceful, absolutely beautiful scenery. Very clean, with an amazing host. Would happily go back. The only thing I would say is, that the drive to the property can be challenging for drivers who don’t have a lot of confidence. Other than this, it’s an amazing house, lots of character, we loved it!

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful Airbnb which was thoughtfully restored to reflect the history of the area. You won’t want to leave. We explored Certaldo Alto and Montefioralle- both amazing sites. The pool area was perfection and we couldn’t get enough of the landscape! Couldn’t stayed a week!!!

We enjoyed Maria's great house. We were kindly received by Maria and her family, where we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and delicious cake. We were with 6 adults. There's plenty of room. It's great that every bedroom has its own bathroom. It is a beautiful house in a beautiful setting with a lovely swimming pool among the olive trees and it is really equipped with all comforts. The charger for the electric car is also very nice. We picked up fresh bread every morning from the local baker in the village, 5 minutes away by car. Good base for the beautiful cities such as Lucca, Siena, Florence. The beach is also a great option. We felt very much at home. Maria and family, thank you for the wonderful time in your beautiful home.

Ilaria was a wonderful host. The house is located on top of a hill, with a huge and very nice garden and wonderful views. Perfect for kids to play.

Giuliani is a wonderful host who made us feel as if this slice of paradise was our home, too. The location, the meticulously restored home, the views all make for the ultimate Tuscan experience. But Giuliani and her husband bring it all together with their warmth and attentiveness. It was a tough place to say goodbye to — for now. If you are looking for a Tuscan experience, this is it. And remember to ask for the hosts’ home-cooked meal. It is a culinary experience in the very best sense.

We were very satisfied with our vacation home from Stefania. Great, spacious, secluded garden with many olive trees. Pergola with seating area invites you to linger. The cleanliness of the place was also extremely good. The beds or mattresses were very comfortable and the bedrooms nicely furnished. Stefania provided us with many tips and recommendations. She also booked a table for us twice at the nearby Osteria di Valgiano. Great food at a reasonable price with a great view of Lucca. Stefania responded quickly and kindly to questions. We would have liked to stay longer and will definitely come back!

Christine and John were the best hosts, making this incredible location even more enjoyable. They went above and beyond, recommending restaurants, wineries and experiences that made our trip unforgettable. Christine also helped us get our lost luggage back, ringing the airport for us and liaising with a driver in Florence to pick it up and drop it off to us. Incredible service. Absolutely recommend!

A small paradise surrounded by olive trees We had a wonderful stay in this idyllic Charlet near Pistoia. The location in a quiet olive grove is fantastic - perfect for escaping everyday life. The pool was ideal for cooling off in the summer temperatures. The Charlet offers everything you really need – and nothing you don't. This is precisely what makes this place so special and charming. Francesco is a great host – warm, helpful and always available. We enjoyed every day and are already looking forward to the next time!

Great place! We loved it!

Francesca is like a godmother who always spoils you lovingly. And she can do that as the best! She, together with her chickens and dogs Rio and Cucqui, has it all very well in her paradise above Barga. We drank freshly picked tea, ate the most creamy eggs and marveled at the glittering hills of the fireflies. Wow! The mornings started already mega cheerful with a cute characteristic baker who came to the house & the evenings we spent under the great canopy; feet up, wine and Italian dinners. Grazie mille Francesca for this wonderful welcoming and relaxing holiday!

The biggest recommendation!!! We loved this place. The house is filled with various cozy areas, so there is plenty of shade, as we were travelling with small babies. We loved the outdoor seating area, and the pool area is more beautiful than the images shows. Only thing we would mention, is that there is a 10-15min drive uphill a very narrow road before you reach the house. It was not a problem for us, as we wanted to stay as much time as possible at the house. Other than that, Francesca was an amazing host and was easy to communicate with. We would definitely come back another time!

We stayed here for 3 days, a family with 2 children. The apartment was great and the location was perfect for walking around town and close to everything. Cozy cafés and restaurants nearby. The apartment had everything you could wish for and Lidia was an extraordinary and very nice host.

We had a great time at Sara’s place, she welcomed us in with some eggs from the hens that they keep in the garden. There’s lots of attractions for kids, like chickens, 2 donkeys and some furry friends, a playground that my daughter really enjoyed playing in and balls and toys. The apartment is beautiful, the grounds are so peaceful and the view is spectacular. There’s quite a bit to do within 30 minutes drive. I wish we could stay longer. I’d like to visit again in the summer 😍

Anna’s apartment was absolutely dreamy it felt like stepping back in time. She paid attention to even the tiniest details, carefully preserving original paints and walls, which gave the space a truly unique glamour. Anna herself was so friendly, flexible, and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. It was the perfect weekend getaway to detox and unwind from busy city life. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! It was very nice, spotlessly clean, and much more spacious than I expected. Everything was exactly as described, and the host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire stay. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again!

The renovated church was incredibly interesting and I was fascinated by its long history. The church is nestled within a tranquil olive grove which made it easy to relax and disconnect from the stressors of the big city. Roberto was absolutely incredible and I cannot give higher praise—he is truly the standard when it comes to hosts. He was attentive, responsive to any issues, and helpful to solve any difficulties that we had with travel arrangements. It’s easy to see why this property is in such high demand. It was my first time staying in Tuscany and Roberto’s church is already calling me back for another stay! Most highly recommended.

So worth it to stay inside the walls. This is a great place for that!

Christine’s place was exactly what we were looking for before a busy weekend of wedding festivities – calm and quiet! Stunning views from the outdoor terrace and a lovely interior. She recommended a nearby restaurant, and we had an excellent dinner. We had a little bit of confusion upon entering, but Christine was very responsive and it was cleared up immediately.

Rarely had such a nice hostess. As a welcome, there was a Tuscan specialty prepared by Domenica herself In the 2nd week, a homemade pizza and homemade jam as a farewell gift 👍 I can only recommend all of this 100% And what is particularly worth mentioning: the PEACE
