Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Montagu

This is already our fourth time staying in Rigby's beautiful house. It is wonderfully located on the golf course, offering a peaceful atmosphere. It's a great starting point for many activities. Rigby and Jean-André are always easily reachable. We are looking forward to our next visit!

We had a wonderful stay at De Vrede - as a plantswoman myself, the garden must've been my favourite part of the whole property. Expansive, wild and prescribed a slower temporal pace I found incredibly fruitful. The cottage itself was delightful too, where we spent most of the chilly evenings by the fireplace. Highly recommend and would most definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at Kune Karoo. Really cosy house with beautiful views from the deck upstairs over Barrydale. The fireplace is great for those cold winter nights!

Beautiful garden & peaceful home, with loads of space & cosy

This place is made to calm down and relax. It‘s far out the city and around 1km from the host‘s farm. There is no electricity in the house but candles and lamps… and a very nice hot tube. Heleen, our super friendly host, prepared hot water when we arrived, gave us a lot of useful recommendations around this place and was helpful for everything we needed. There‘s almost no light pollution allowing a nice and clear sky full of stars! We would highly recommend this place and definitely come again! Thanks a lot!

Had a wonderful stay! Was very peaceful and we could totally relax. Eveything was clean and we really appreciated the extra touches such as complimentary champagne! The kol-kol was the highlight!

We enjoyed our stay at the riverside cottage. The accommodation is simple but cozy, with plenty of relaxing spots around. We appreciated the lovely complimentary touches like coffee, tea, milk, butter, bread and water. There was lots of space for the kids to play, which made it even more special. A place full of good memories! I’m not sure is it’s okay but during the braai was lots of smoke in the house, I advise do it outside.

We had a very lovely stay at the old school. The building is very nice. In McGregor are many nice places to eat. Thanks for hosting us.

Magriet was there to greet us although self check-in is also available. We enjoyed complimentary coffee, milk and rusks and we were welcomed with chocolates on the bed. The heaters were turned on and the bedroom was nice and cosy when we got there. Magriet recommended coffee shops restaurant and there are also brochures for Ceres attractions in the room. Shower had hot water and towels available for use plus extra bedding in case it got cold, wifi was available , parking secure behind an automated gate and separately from the main house. The accommodation was great , good value for money and Magriet is a super host, I will definitely recommend stay over there if in Ceres. We loved our stay! The bath tub is amazing, the bed super comfortable and the garden with the terrace is a little oasis. Would definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cottage! We visited with friends, and the setup was perfect—two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, made everything so easy and comfortable. What truly stood out were the thoughtful touches: a little olive branch with chocolate on the bedside table and fresh, beautiful flowers in the bathroom—those small details made us feel really special. The combustion stove was a highlight too, keeping us cozy on the chilly evenings, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. Overall, it was an amazing experience. We truly appreciated the care and attention put into making the place feel welcoming and memorable. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay in Montagu. Kotie was very helpful and pointed out a few activities and restaurants that we could do and go to. the cottage was clean and well equipped.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most definately book here again. The hosts were fantastic and very gracious.

The flat was full of character and had an incredible view of the mountains. Hector was an extremely friendly host and gave us many local recommendations of what to do and where to eat. We wish we could’ve stayed for longer!
