Family-friendly holiday rentals in Montclair

My family of 4 absolutely loved staying here for the four nights. It was super clean, extremely well stocked, and comfortable. Not to mention the pool and jacuzzi, the view and the peace and quiet! We would without hesitation book here again! Camille was so nice and communicative we felt like we were staying at a friend’s house.

Jan and Dale's place felt like home. When we arrived we had a nice surprise from them, snacks, a bottle of wine and fresh flowers. The neighborhood felt friendly and it was a 5 minute drive from the beach. They exceeded our expectations and we hope to return soon!

Me & my family absolutely loved staying at this beautiful home. My first time ever getting an Airbnb & so happy we did. The house all together is so beautiful inside & out. The pool & jacuzzi were amazing. Such relaxing scenery. Unfortunately didn’t get to use the fire pit outside, but I bet it’s cozy. It was truly beautiful. If I’m ever in need of an Airbnb again in this area, I will definitely be reaching out to Jorgen again. Jorgen was a wonderful host to work with. Very nice, respectful & responsive. My son-in-law actually forgot his sunglasses after we checked out & he even took the time to make sure we got them back. Super super happy with our experience there. You won’t be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of space and privacy to complete a perfect family getaway.

Judy’s home was perfect for our family with littles, more than enough room and great backyard to wind down in before and after visiting the parks. Jacuzzi was amazing and ready for use when we arrived. Will definitely consider staying here again on our next visit!

Tony was extremely easy to work with. Very communicative. Any time i reached out to him, he responded promptly. The location was great and the airbnb was awesome. Tamryn's place exceeded my expectations in every way. The pictures were accurate, and yet somehow did not do justice to just how special the apartment or its surroundings are! There were many thoughtful touches throughout: there was ground coffee, half and half, Greek yogurt and granola available in the fridge for breakfast, hand lotion and sunscreen available in the bathroom, and it seemed that the linens had been washed in scentless detergent, which I really appreciate because I'm super sensitive to soaps and scents. The apartment itself was surprisingly spacious, with a full-size bathroom and cute kitchenette and dining table overlooking their gardens. It was perfect for a weekend stay and I found myself wishing I could stay even longer. Many thanks to Tamryn and her family for the comfortable and well-appointed guest suite!

The Studio is a fantastic place to stay and I highly recommend to fellow solo travellers. South Pasadena is a safe and walkable town with fantastic Pasadena nearby. I find the Metro line being nearby incredible to help get to places like Dodger Stadium easily. The colourful garden and the peaceful chirping of the chickens makes this place feel very homely. I can’t wait to be back in LA, and will definitely stay at the Studio again.

Whitney’s cabin was a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The home was clean and had all the amenities listed. We enjoyed the popcorn and board games. The view is amazing. It was very dog friendly and even had bowls and treats available for my pup.

From the very start, Michelle was clear with her communication, and very quick t o respond to any request we had. Her home was very clean and had all amenities as stated on Air BnB. We enjoyed sitting outside, either on the patio in the backyard, or in the private front yard. There is plenty of private parking and the home is near any stores or restaurants you might want. Michelle is a perfect host.

The spot was a perfect jumping off point for our long weekend of family festivities in the area.

The guesthouse was a perfect choice for our stay. It was clean, modern, well appointed as well as convenient. Carolyn’s instructions were clear and easy to follow. We would gladly stay at the guesthouse again if/when our travels take us back to Pasadena.

Amazing place to stay and recommend it

Yan’s place was exactly what we needed for a big family resting place. The expectations of the place were well communicated and friendly reminders were plastered all around the house to refer to on our last night and morning. Everyone had a great time, there was a point of great discomfort for me but after speaking with Yan, she assured me of a speedy solution.

Great place. Highly recommend. Nice quiet neighborhood in a very walkable location.

Susy was a great host. She checked in with us and made us feel very comfortable. She also helped look for some items we had left behind.

Place was an amazing stay. The area was nice and quiet. Entrance to the place was very easy and the place has a pool and outdoor patio with a fire pit which was amazing! Beds and sheets were very comfortable and soft with an AC available. The room has a complimentary coffee station which was amazing!!! The place was clean and aesthetic! Highly suggest this place!

First off I want to say the pictures don’t do the back yard any justice. It’s so beautiful and the perfect get away trip without having to break the bank. Definitely worth every penny We loved it and we will be returning again! P.s. Just make sure you bring some bug spray there is a bunch of mosquitos in the back yard, we didn’t have any so don’t be us lol. 🙌

The cottage was very cute and cozy. It was extremely clean! It was a great home-base for our adventures to Disneyland, the Queen Mary, and Hollywood. It was also convenient to local restaurants.

Janet welcomed us into her home and was amazing. The cottage was nothing short of perfection, her responsiveness and willingness to accommodate for our group was impeccable. I cannot wait for a second opportunity to share space with her.

My family stayed at Krysta’s home for nights during our trip to Disneyland. Krysta was super responsive and proactive in her communications. She reached out ahead of the time to help arrange our arrival and was there to help us settle in. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable, and it was very clean! The neighborhood was clean and safe, with a children’s playground just right outside. The drive to Disneyland parks and disney downtown area was only 10 minutes and super easy. I highly recommend Krysta and her home to anyone looking to visit Disney!
