Villa holiday rentals in Monte Gordo

We four friends had a very nice time in this fantastic house and found exactly what we were looking for: sunrise, sunset, a view of the vastness of the mountains, absolute peace... The pool was my joy despite my injured leg! The house is furnished with great attention to detail, which also contributed to our relaxation! Thank you also for the friendly and helpful contact! After our vacation in Madeira was canceled due to a forest fire, we never thought we would find such beautiful accommodation at the last minute. We would love to come back!

We had a perfect stay at Villa Eltael! The house was exactly as described—spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The beds were great, and the whole place felt calm and cozy, ideal for a relaxing family holiday. The heated pool was a fantastic addition and made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is great—quiet and peaceful, but close to everything you need (supermarket, restaurants, etc) and still within walking distance to the beach. We were also pleasantly surprised by how well-equipped the house was. All the essentials were provided—from coffee, laundry and dishwashing detergents, to even charcoal for the barbecue. It made everything so easy and convenient. João and Sívila were outstanding hosts! Their warm welcome, excellent communication, and flexibility with check-in made us feel completely at home. Their hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. We wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly come back soon. Totally recommend this place!

This is a beautiful villa and pool with a breathtaking view down over the hills to the sea and islands in the distance. The whole place is spotlessly clean and furnished to a very good standard with comfortable beds, sofas and sunbeds and both indoor and outdoor dining spaces. The pool is spacious and inviting and. makes a lovely focal point in the garden. Matthijs is an excellent host, responding swiftly to messages in a helpful and friendly manner. We highly recommend this villa.

We absolutely loved Sergio’s villa, it had everything we needed, with magnificent views across the valley. It was sooo peasant and pleasant. The kids loved the heated pool and the garden. We will be back!!!!

Micky and Silvia came across as a lovely couple and very friendly we had a little problem with my sister locking herself out of one of the apartments Micky acame over and sorted it immediately thank you again. The Villa is a fabulous place very peaceful very modern but it needs a few little tweaks like better pillows more cups the sofa beds in the studio apartments are uncomfortable. We took the whole family 11 of us in total. A great week

Wonderful house, with lots of space for outdoors activities, close to Loule where there are there is lots of wonderful restaurants and culture. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend!

We had a wonderful weeks stay. Everyone was exactly as described. We arrived very late at night but found the villa so easily from the pin drop provided and so easy to access. We received very welcome recommendations for restaurants and activities and tried a number of these which were excellent. We would definitely return as we enjoyed the villa so much.

This house has a gorgeous view of the sea! Perched high on the cliff and only a few feet from steps that leads directly to a first rate restaurant and direct access to the beach with shops, restaurants and bars. Each of the four bedrooms has a sea view and an ensuite bathroom! The outdoor areas are spacious, with quality furniture and pool loungers...and the pool is sparkling, clean and in great condition!! There is a Nespresso machine but be sure to bring your own pods if you are staying long.There are none at the local grocery store to buy. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with plenty of cups, glasses, plates, bowls, and silverware. We rented the unit in late May during an annual fly hatching season. We had to deal with thousands of flies in the house when we arrived. We were given warning by the owner a few days before arrival. This is not something that can be controlled as it is a seasonable problem, but you should be aware of this if you plan to travel around that time

Very nice villa, great pool (glad we heated it!) and lots of space for our 13-person group. Bathrooms were splendid. It could have a bit more cleaning equipment for guests to use during stay, while parts of the plot aren’t as easy/safe for our 1.5yr old baby to walk around. Other than that: great! Hence, 5*

One of the most beautiful Airbnbs we have ever stayed in! I couldn't recommend it enough and hope to return. The space is even better than the photos, with each apartment having their own kitchenette & bathroom. The backyard was incredible and made for an amazing space to spend time with family. The property manager, Ines, was extremely welcoming and responsive. If you're considering renting Casa Bela Vida - it's a must!

Villa Verde looks exactly like the listing. It’s so peaceful there - we hardly left the place! The pool is bigger and deeper than it looks in the pics! Outdoor kitchen and shower are a great bonus. Perfect facilities for a family holiday, including really useful baby/toddler stuff.

We had the most magical time at Casa Stardust! It really is a special place. It’s wonderful gardens, which just keep on giving.. every corner you turn provides another tranquil resting area. The kids absolutely loved exploring and visiting the turtles & frogs in the pond & loved making friends with the resident rooster and his ladies💕 The beaches nearby are family friendly and there are lots of different options, the local restaurants & towns are wonderful. Had a wonderful stay with family and friends. Perfect to share with friends and their children. Such a beautiful villa and the grounds were perfect! The views were incredible and a lovely, responsive host! If only the weather could have been better for us! Would definitely visit again!

What a lovely villa in beautiful surroundings! I spent a week here with family and we had a great time. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room and privacy. The gardens and pool area is beautiful and peaceful and the house was immaculate. Carlos was very easy to work with and he was great at communicating and answering any questions that came up. Thank you Carlos for allowing us to stay in your little piece of heaven!

Cannot fault this property for any large party, peaceful location but close to every amenity you would require. So many different areas in the Villa for people to gather or even escape for some peace and quiet. pool was large and well looked after. Two barbecue areas and plenty of outdoor furniture. Jorge communicated very quickly and could not do enough to assist and the Cleaners etc were very nice, welcoming and helpful. Just back from a 5 night break and every member of the group has sent messages to comment on what a great break we had. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic villa, the photos don't do it justice! It was very spacious and comfortable for us all (4 adults and 4 children), had a great pool and everything we needed (including a table tennis table!). It was about a 15 minute walk to the nearest supermarket, and a 20-25 minute walk to the centre of Tavira (or a 5 Euro trip in an Uber). Would definitely recommend staying here and would love to go back!

We loved our stay at Tiago's beautiful house. We stay over easter for a family get together including 7 adults and 2 young children. The house was perfect and allowed ample space for us to spread out enjoy ourselves. Kids especially loved playing with the slide outside and in the pool. The pool isn't heated and very cold but we were lucky with warm weather in April and enjoyed using it a few times. The beach at Praia Verde is stunning with white sand, calm water and a board walk walk with cafes and restaurants (although not all open in low season).

This villa is absolutely stunning! Amazing views and very clean. Had a lovely stay here . And the perfect holiday with my wife and our three children. Can not fault it in any way. Highly recommended

We had a great stay at Isabel and Aida’s place. The host was very communicative, flexible and helpful whenever we had a question. The place had everything we need and was very child friendly with all the toys, cutlery and gate at the stairs. The place is 5 minutes to Tavira by car. The only negative thing for us was the hard beds but it is also something personal and might not be a problem for everyone. Thank you Isabel and Aida for a great holiday!

WOW is the most accurate description of our days spent in Sina. A perfect getaway from the daily stress and crowds. Sina is pure perfection when it comes to relaxation in amazing surroundings ❤️ Paulo as a host was very forthcoming and helpful in every way. We will for sure return for another unforgettable experience.
