Tiny house holiday rentals in Monteverde

Las vistas, al menos en temporada seca, son insuperables. Hay vista completa al volcán Arenal desde el ventanal de la cama y desde el porche. Karen es súper amable y muy agradable. Nos ayudó con varias excursiones y nos dio consejos muy útiles sobre cosas que hacer por la zona. Siempre estaba atenta a lo que pudiéramos necesitar. Estuvimos muy a gusto y si volvemos es un sitio que repetiremos sin duda.

I absolutely love this magical place. It is so well-maintained and decorated with so much love, a true spiritual heaven, for everybody who is looking for tranquility, a connection to nature and oneself. Especially the beautifully decorated yoga room with stunning art pieces is very special. I love the animals, the hammocks everywhere and the open space full of art, music instruments and just such a nice and free spirited vibe. If I will ever be in the area again, I will definitely come here. Thank you so much for this lovely place that you created, Keith! 🙏🏼

A lovely location and a super nice host. Jessica met us on arrival, chatted over making us coffee, got to know us. The house was spacious and very comfortable, a good kitchen dining area and lovely patio. We saw howler monkeys close up and toucans in the garden. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Hands down the best place to stay in La Fortuna. David was very responsive and got me checked in right when I arrived. The cabin is GORGEOUS. It feels like it’s in the middle of the rain forest. The inside of the cabin was the cleanest Airbnb I may have ever stayed at. Truly spotless and didn’t have bugs which I have found to be impossible in Costa Rica. The bed was so comfortable and the view from the kitchen made me so happy in the morning. It even has a little patio area underneath the cabin. Wish I could have stayed longer!! I’d recommend staying here over staying at a fancy hotel. You feel immersed in Costa Rican nature while still feeling very comfortable. Honestly this place felt like a nice hotel but way better. It’s worth it.

Teresita and Eli went above and beyond. We were a group of 14 and rented out all their cabanas. As you can imagine we had lots of questions. They took the time to recommend activities and even booked on our behalf. Also, all of their food recommendations were great. The cabanas were beautiful and had everything we needed.

We loved our stay at cabin 11. Everything was just as advertised. The view from the back deck was beautiful. It was easy to walk to several restaurants and also a small store where supplies could be purchased. The morning breakfast for $7 was well worth the money. The area was convenient to the main town of La Fortuna. Just a short hike down to the river. We had a wonderful peaceful time!

Disfrutamos cada segundo de nuestro hospedaje en Casa Cielo. ¡Nos sentimos como en casa! Nos encantó el baño de tina viendo las estrellas, la hamaca en el balcón al atardecer, los senderos alrededor de la casa, la privacidad y cada detalle especial de la casa. Definitivamente volveremos.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Le loft est très propre. Il est situé en retrait de la ville ce qui permet d’être au calme et à proximité de Monteverde et des différentes randonnées. La vue du logement sur la nature est magnifique! A noter que la voie d’accès au logement est une piste et qu’il est préférable d’avoir un véhicule adapté.

Muy lindo lugar y céntrico

Me hospede en Bromelia. El lugar es muy bonito, limpio y tranquilo. las instrucciones fueron muy facil de seguir.

A sweet little spot surrounded by beautiful trees and nature. Love how it feels upstairs in the bedroom with the view of the tree out of the window / from the balcony. Was lovely sitting in the yard where the bench is too surrounded by butterflies and little hummingbirds. The hosts were very responsive, helpful and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway that’s close to Monteverde and has its own natural charm.

It is a small cabin but in such a unique place where you effortlessly connect the intimacy with natures. Either early rise for birds singing or stay up for fireflies in the darkness, to me these are purest joys. The location is so private that makes you feel like owning the mountain. The host Carlos is very helpful and responsive. Co host Natalie is the sweetest. Delicious Breakfast is served at your conveniences next door as guests' dining room. We highly recommend this lovely place.

The peace and quiet of the country was spectacular, especially with the fireflies dancing right outside my door and watching the mist, clouds and rain coming over the mountains tops from the valley view! Absolutely beautiful and cabin was cozy and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast was yummy and easy to order ahead with the menu sent before check in and so nice feeling right at home in a mini restaurant made just for you. The two slight challenges was finding my way there without phone reception but Carlos sent a video that helped immensely and the corner sink in the bathroom was a little awkward for brushing my teeth. I felt it was very worth the drive for the quality and care put into the accommodations and the peaceful surroundings. Next time I want to try staying in one of the dome options!

Très bel endroit, pas trop loin des petits restaurants et des activités ! Chouette vue, juste la piscine pas vraiment aménagée pour chiller et le sol un peu sale, sinon c’était super!

Beautiful view and fun to visit the coffee maze, farm, and on site cafe. Bit of a drive on rough roads to anywhere but beautiful remote location. Thank you for the stay!

We had a great time at the glass house 1.0. The view was incredible and the home was stocked thoughtfully. The Amalu signage along the way was quite helpful after the drive up. Definitely recommend renting a 4x4 vehicle to get to the house and for around MV.

Hospedaje muy bien ubicado. Cerquísima del parqueo de la Reserva Bosque Nuboso Monteverde y por ende, de la Reserva como tal. Cristina nos atendió muy bien, el desayuno nos lo trajo a la hora pactada muy amablenente y estaba buenísimo. Hay espacio para estacionar carro al frente de la cabaña también. ¡Muy bueno en general toda la experiencia!

The Finca Camino Nuevo is a wonderful place to stay several days, a little remote from the quite touristy Santa Elena with a large beautiful natural surrounding and a nice view. The climate is very comfortable up there. When we arrived we even could enjoy the sunset from the smaller warm pool. The interieur over all of the common room and the yoga/music room is quite atmospheric, havin breakfast and dinner with the other guests is a nice occasion to meet people and to exchange travel experiences. We actually felt immediately like meeting good friends there. Food was just amazing!! There are many activities on site, so it's also nice just to hang out at the Finca for one day. To get to the reserves a car is advantageous, 10-20 min drive to different parks/activities, 5 min to Santa Elena. We had the room next to the Yoga room that doesn't have any view, but all the other rooms have a little terrace with a nice view and a hammock. We enjoyed our stay a lot, thanks to the super kind team!

A true gem! Karen and Bernny are awesome hosts. The place is peaceful and comfortable and clean. Karen was exceedingly kind when I locked myself out 😆. The WiFi worked great. The bed is very comfortable. The chairs on the porch are wonderful. Bernny provided many suggestions for local attractions and how to prioritize to get the most of them. He also leads a fantastic night walk which I recommend to all. Things of note - this is a windy area - things get loud at night - plan for it. The hot water does not have a lot of pressure but gets the job done. This seems to be the norm in CR. 4WD vehicle is not necessary if you follow the instructions from the hosts. higher clearance is nice but also not required when I went. Yes driving is tricky in the area and probably not for everyone. But boy - is it ever worth it! The area is amazing and you will be lucky to book this place.

The room was clean, the WiFi speed was not very high, but that’s not what the accommodation is for. The accommodation is meant to really enjoy the nature and the view, and oh did we enjoy the view, it was truly splendid! Not only did all the hosts provide me with a genuine friendliness, as soon as a problem arose they took a proactive approach and solved the issue within minutes. Really felt like this place was like a home for a night, would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Monteverde area.

Stayed with two young kids and had a great time, absolutely recommend - the home and the views were stunning. Gilberto and family were wonderful and so welcoming/accommodating. We got in late and ordered dinner from the family restaurant and the food was amazing, and Gilberto was kind enough to bring it over to us. We watched the thunderstorms in the distance and it was just magical. In the morning we walked around the farm, the kids loved visiting with all the animals. Overall a really wonderful stay and one of the highlights of our time in Costa Rica!

The stay at Zaca’s was serene and private! We loved being close to both Santa Elena and Monteverde reserves. The restaurants nearby were great, and we took one of Zaca’s recommendations to go to Tramonti and it was amazing! Zaca is very responsive and friendly, and also left little chocolates and apples for us as well. The tiny house did always feel just slightly damp but you are in the cloud forest so everywhere is damp! I would recommend this place and would return if I am back in the area!
