The house is even more beautiful once you’re there. Pictures do not do it justice. So many comfortable amenities that make you feel at home. Beds are very comfortable, everything is spotless and we spent many nights by the fire on the screened porch and mornings looking out over the lake. The host was fabulous and so responsive. This will be the ONLY place we stay when we visit family in NC.

We stayed here for a youth state shooting tournament . The boys wanted to fish more than go to the tournament! It’s a safe community with a pond in the back and close access to the lake! We enjoyed it!

Spent the weekend here with some friends for a weekend getaway on the lake. The property was perfect, had plenty of space, was clean and felt right at home. Was able to bring my boat and use the open boat slip on the dock which worked out great! Joel was super helpful and proactive with doing anything that he could to make our stay better. Overall a great house if you’re looking for a stay on the lake in a quiet private neighborhood. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fabulous stay at the lake. Home was spacious, kitchen well stocked, and the upstairs was great for our kiddos. The dock was great, lots of space and we loved the 2nd level where we got to star gaze at night. Felicia was very responsive and we hope to come back next year!

We loved our stay there with family. It is beautiful and peaceful. Kept the kids entertained in the game room during a storm. Debbie is a wonderful host had chocolate chip cookies in the kitchen that didn't last long. We would recommend her gorgeous home for anyone who is looking for a wonderful, peaceful lake view.

Adorable home with a beautiful view of the lake. The screen porch was lovely and where we spent most of our time at the house. We grilled two of the three evenings and went into nearby Albemarle one night for dinner. Neighborhood is quiet and neighbors were very nice. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Please keep in mind, if you are bringing a boat, make sure you bring a 4-wheel drive vehicle as the driveway is very steep, and we had to park in the gravel at the top of the hill.

Jim’s place was awesome! We have stayed at several homes in the area over the past few years and his is definitely our most favorite. Perfect getaway for our family. Stunning A-frame on the lake! We loved the neighborhood, the house had great decor, it was cozy and clean. Kitchen has everything you need. The view was spectacular! We enjoyed using the kayak/canoe; sipping morning coffee on the dock; and grilling out having dinner on the deck. We explored Morrow Mountain State Park and Uwharrie National Forest OHV trails. Highly recommend going to Maim street and getting coffee at Reservoir Caffee (try the Uwharrie Iced Latte). No notes for Carrie! It was a pleasure communicating with her, I can’t wait to return!
