Private getaway on the shore of Lake Geneva outside Lausanne

The house is rather unusual - tall and thin - but very cleverly designed with the sitting room and two of the bedrooms with fabulous views the lake. It’s only 100 yards down to the lake where we swam every day. Talloire village is about 3kms away We all agreed it was a lovely house and we would definitely stay there again.

Thank you to Carmel and Yves for your kindness, authenticity and kindness, your beautiful and peaceful accommodation allowed us to spend wonderful moments of friendship and ... with the beautiful weather we were able to enjoy a magnificent terrace with a magical view. Very welcoming host , available and very good communication . We stayed at Thomas's place on a motorcycle road trip and were able to park our motorcycles in the garage . The listing is as described . Thank you for everything 😉

Very appreciable short stay. I liked the presence of air conditioning with the high temperatures, it was cool in the rooms even in the mezzanine. The two beaches below the village are very uncrowded and the peaceful calm of the village is a stone's throw from Switzerland by bike.

Annie’s place was perfect for our stay near Montreux! Bigger than I expected based on the photos, so it was nice to spread out with our group of 6. My kids loved the dart board and those views from the balconies can’t be beat. Annie was so sweet and easy to communicate with. Her little touches made for the best few days!

We had a very nice stay in Pierre's apartment, Beautiful and tastefully decorated apartment. Everything clean and tidy. Cabinets in the bedroom and kitchen could use a little renovation. Very smooth communication. Beautiful surroundings and close to the lake of Geneva. Recommended!

I had a very lovely time in Montreux at Gwendoline’s apartment. I can say that this has been my best Airbnb stay so far. The apartment is so beautifully done, spacious enough for two people. It has a balcony and a lake view which is so pretty. It is just 10 mins away from the city centre so very convenient to go see all the attractions. I would highly recommend this apartment if you’re in the area.

Beautiful, clean, well-equipped apartment with balcony. Everything is available, as described in the ad, everything you need - even a raclette machine☺️. We particularly liked the direct view of the lake. There is free parking on site, and everything can be easily reached by car. Manda is a great host who writes all the necessary information in time via the Airbnb app, making communication very pleasant. We would book the apartment again at any time! We had a relaxing holiday with many hikes in the beautiful surroundings - thank you.

The views of Lake Geneva from the house are absolutely stunning. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals. Overall, a peaceful and beautiful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in Michel's apartment. The apartment is within walking distance of the ski lifts and the village center. There is no view of the lake from the apartment. The apartment is small but very clean and everything is present. There is enough space to store your luggage. Michel is a very friendly host, who responds quickly to messages. He also provided us with clear instructions regarding the location, the access code and other things in advance.

A magnificent, extraordinary place! If you love nature, then you are in the heart of it! We loved the stay. The cows are grazing at the foot of the head. Just breathtaking. The apartment is super well laid out and there is nothing wrong with it, 🙏🙏 lots of storage, which makes the stay very pleasant. Thank you for this wonderful stay that did us the greatest good! The surroundings are great. Bakeries 8 minutes' drive, very good restaurants too.

The apartment is well located, the view of the lake pleasant and relaxing. Easy parking in front of the building. Clean apartment. Access to the center on foot, say 20 minutes at good pace. Quietly I would say 30. We will be back with pleasure and I thank our host for hosting us and for his kindness!

Michelle offers a very pleasant place to live in, close to the beach in a very quiet neighborhood. The accommodation is described, small but well equipped and very functional. In good weather, you have to take advantage of the sunny terrace of the garden. We had a very pleasant stay in Saint-Jorioz and, although we did meet our hosts, the communication was clear and very cordial. Michelle has offered games for children, bikes for walks and is very attentive to her tenants. Annecy is beautiful but also all the small villages around the lake. We particularly recommend the beach/pool of Saint Jorioz, within walking distance!

Great place to stay. Bolia was great to deal with. Even though we didn't speak each others languages we could communicate via Airbnb, Whats App and text messages easily. The combination of an old building and modern but not too modern interior was fantastic. Really peaceful and comfortable. Across the road from the chocolate factory but couldn't hear any noise. Nice walk up to Broc for the Coop, bakery etc. for supplies. Easy bus journey to Gruyere and the H R Giger museum and bar etc.

A wonderful house with a homely atmosphere, rich in amenities and equipment and good spacious rooms. charming dining area on a lovely terrace in the garden, all surrounded by lush nature on all sides and the lake a stone's throw away. There is great calm around the house. The area offers plenty of opportunities for entertainment and activities. The host is very welcoming and helpful. We would very much like to return.

Imagine the perfect vacation home by a lake: A place that immediately provides a feeling of well-being – furnished with love, a touch of Mediterranean lightness and warm details that speak of hospitality. The equipment leaves no wish unfulfilled, ranging from small moments of luxury to everything a family may need. Our children had countless opportunities to play in the garden and by the water - boredom did not exist here. In the evening, sitting on the terrace, watching the sun set over the lake while a discreet laugh echoes somewhere - we have rarely breathed as deeply as here. This was our best holiday. A place you want to come back to.

We've spent a great vacation in St. Jorioz at the lake - it really is a treasure. The cottage is situated right by the lake and offers great views of the mountains, the lake, and the paragliders flying over it. We've had our bikes with us and hardly used the car to get all around the lake. The Boulangerie du Lac is just a few minutes away and offers great french pastries for breakfast and sandwiches to take on trips, various rental places for sailboates and paddle boards at reasonable prices are also near by.
