Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

The accommodation surprised us positively - we had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped including dishwasher tabs and water to welcome us. Laundry detergent was also available. The double bed is very comfortable, the closet more than large enough. Both bedrooms have access to the balcony facing the backyard. A big plus was the baby bed for our son. The bathroom is modern and also super equipped. We did not use the TV. The terrace can be closed to the garden. The garden is beautifully landscaped and fully fenced. The dog and the child could stay alone in the garden without problems. Unfortunately, the street by the apartment has no sidewalk, but you can be down by the water in 2-3 minutes and take a wonderful walk there. We will definitely come back and book here.

My stay in Varese was excellent. The house was impeccable — spotless, well-maintained and fully equipped with everything one might need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The aesthetics of the space exuded warmth and finesse, with attention to the smallest detail. The location was ideal, in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood, with easy access to the center of Varese and to nature. The host was very kind, hospitable and completely available to any of my questions or needs. You feel that real people are waiting for you with passion and respect for the visitor, and that makes all the difference. This is really one of the best houses I've ever stayed in through Airbnb. I highly recommend it and would love to stay here again on my next trip to Italy.
