This is a total jewel! Amazing interior decoration, amenities and well stocked kitchen. The location is good too - a short walk to the restaurants in Saumur and a short drive to nearby attractions. The hosts were very responsive. Thanks so much!

We had a very nice evening and night in this really charming and very peaceful accommodation. It was only for one night but the amenities, comfort and location really make you want to extend the stay! I would recommend it without hesitation.

‘Le Barn’, in the grounds of Chateau Belebat, is a charming accommodation which is beautifully and tastefully presented by the engaging hosts Jeff and Oscar. It is a peaceful, rural location, ideal as a base from which to explore this area of the Loire by car. For those on 2 wheels, it is worth mentioning the cycle path close by which connects to the local village with the all important Boulanger just 2km away from Le Barn. The nearby town of Richelieu is worth a visit and there are numerous other attractions in the locality. We picnicked by the river, tasted and bought wine in various Chateaux, explored Saumur, Chinon, Amboise, and several smaller villages, discovered charming restaurants, explored local markets and toured some of beautiful Chateaux gardens. Overall a wonderful spot although the little seating area outside Le Barn is not particularly private or comfortable if one wanted to chill/sleep/read a book in complete peace for an hour or two after a hard day sightseeing.

Beautiful accommodation very well located a few streets from the center of Doué. Small parking lot near the property. The terrace is lovely.

Very well located, in the heart of the old town and yet, once inside, you can't hear anything. It's perfect. Very convenient, very well furnished. The sofa bed is extremely cosy. We'll be happy to go back! The old spiral staircase brings charm to this accommodation. Thank you for everything. You're at your best!

The stuff fairytales are made of. Staying directly under a castle. The apartment is so well appointed. Bathed in sunlight in the mornings. Spacious & tastefully decorated. Easy 5 min walk to the centre of town. Beautiful walks across the road by the Loire. The castle is an easy 10 min walk to the castle. The apartment feels very safe. The hosts are very friendly, helpful & responsive. Highly recommend staying here.

4 days as a family in this wonderful gite in the red house. The accommodation is very spacious and has a lot of character (classified house), ideally located for walking around Chinon and shining in the area. There are all the necessary amenities, the bedding is comfortable and the apartment tastefully decorated. I had a great stay at this accommodation in Angers! The apartment is clean, well decorated, very comfortable and perfectly equipped. The location is ideal: close to the city center, transport and shops. I highly recommend this accommodation and will not hesitate to come back during a future visit to Angers!
