This was a beautiful cottage with everything you could need and more😊 Location was good just a 10 min walk into town Mason pub was really nice food and staff were great 😊 Would definitely return was a lovely stay 🥰

Absolutely lovely location on the end of a private road with farm animals and fields surrounding the property with a gorgeous river tracking down the valley adjacent to the property. Highly recommended

The house was plenty big enough for 5 of us, an added bonus of having 2 bathrooms when there's a few of you. The kitchen was the best equipped kitchen we have ever stayed in, I cooked a Sunday roast there and it was lovely to have a dishwasher to take care of all the pots. Simba next doors dog was an added bonus for us he was there every morning ready for a walk in the orchard or field with us. We saw peacocks, hares and hedgehogs whilst staying here. Matthew was kind enough to show us all some hedgehogs they were rehabilitating and told us about future plans they had for the surrounding area. A very enjoyable stay for us all in the countryside

What a fantastic place. This is a must visit cottage if you need a place around the Preston area. Helen is a wonderful host who answers questions quickly and leaves clear instructions for your visit, and provides advice on the local places to visit. The cottage is immaculately clean and has everything you need for your stay. It is set in lovely surroundings with the added advantage of a passing cockerel and beautiful peacock that you can watch from a lovely area where you can sit outside in the sunshine. The location is very secluded. Helen and partner ensure your stay is comfortable and go the extra mile to leave you some chocolates, some bread and milk in the fridge for a brew. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a lovely stay; the location is wonderful, surrounded by farmland with baby lambs overlooking the seating area! The apartment is very well specced and looked after, with a small garden house further up the hill opposite and an amazing river a short walk across the fields where we went for a swim. The photos do not do the property justice, it is a gem. Would definitely come back to use as a quiet base to explore the lakes from again.

I enjoyed my stay at Kim‘s place very much, only a short drive or even walk from town and still in such a lovely and private neighbourhood. Kim was a perfect host, thank you! 👍😊👋🍀

3rd time staying at this lovely Georgian ground floor apartment with Tina being a fantastic accommodating host. Absolutely in the centre of Clitheroe, but yet so quiet & tranquil with reliable, secure parking. The accommodation was great for us as all on one level with 2 big bedrooms, each having separate shower room, one en-suite. It is so well equipped and you feel very at home when staying here. From this accommodation you have such easy access to so many lovely places to visit for eating, drinking, local towns, National Trust halls, breweries, famous sausage shop, great pie shops, trough of bowland, pendle hill & many more lovely places .….we will be returning.

Enjoyed our stay at Kate's place for a second visit. Has all the amenities we needed and we can feel very relaxed there. Kate was very helpful with our booking. She dealt very promptly with one minor maintenance issue. She's a thoughtful host and there were fresh flowers, milk and biscuits to welcome us. We enjoyed chatting to Kate. Will definitely hope to visit again. Alison

A lovely loft - perfect and just what we needed for our 2 day mini-break. The loft was much bigger than we anticipated so that was a lovely surprise. The little touches were great too - fresh towels, milk, butter, instructions for the hot tub, even some jigsaws for the rainy afternoon. Everything we needed. The outdoor space was so peaceful. Even though we were on the farm’s property, we felt right at home, comfortable and had the privacy we wanted. The neighbours were adorable - cows and their calves! The outdoor space was secure for our two dogs. Plenty of room for them to stretch their legs and play on the grass. Thanks for a great stay!

What a fantastic place to stay. Thank you Wendy! 35 years after we were students at Lancaster University, our reunion was made even more special by being able to stay on Meeting House Lane. Clear instructions, well located, a discount at the aromatic bakery below - smells greeting you each morning - helped make a weekend to remember. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. What a fabulous few days me and my boys had ..I’ve never seen them so relaxed (ages 35 and 37 )x I think it was the lovely energy we felt in the beautiful Nest xx looking out over the river each morning set us up for the day. Would recommend 100% , we had everything we needed ..I couldn’t fault it ..the bedrooms immaculate and the beds /bedding were soft clean and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the gym and pool offer also x staff there were lovely at the Swan Hotel. Thank you xx

Really impressed with the apartment - it had everything you needed for a stay… very comfortable, clean, relaxing and home from home. The hot tub was lovely and easy to use. The views were good and the Farmyard Brew beer in the barns opposite was excellent as well as the food bar and live music. All in all an amazing stay. Will definitely return.

The mill is stunning - beautifully restored and tastefully decorated with everything needed. A real home from home. Beds were comfortable and bathroom spotless. Walk into Kendal took around 20 mins with some good pubs and shops in the town. My daughters and I throughly enjoyed our stay… Some noise from children in lower apartment early in the mornings was the only slight negative… Highly recommend the mill.

My boyfriend and I booked to stay a few nights after another air BnB didn’t work out for us. It wasn’t ideal to have to up sticks in the middle of our trip but we needn’t have worried- Viv and her husband were so welcoming and friendly. The snug had everything we needed and it was obvious that a lot of care had been taken to make it homely, clean and comfortable. The only downside was having to leave! We loved the area and will certainly be back. Thank you so much Viv :)

As described. Great having a parking bay. We did book very late, but thankfully everything was ready for us. Good location, 10 minute walk to the centre.

Glyn was so helpful. Initially I was overwhelmed with the instructions as I was so anxious about travelling with a vision impaired partner. Glynn’s instructions were very easy to follow, I worried unnecessarily, and Glyn went out of his way to assist me with our baggage, local restaurants etc. The apartment was wonderful and the stay enjoyable. Highly recommend the property to any prospective travellers

The Hideaway was a beautiful, peaceful and perfect setting for us to celebrate our anniversary, made all the more special by Fiona’s very warm welcome, outstanding hospitality and helpfulness, providing guests with everything you might need. One of the comfiest and largest beds we’ve ever slept in; lovely bathroom and well equipped kitchen; all very clean and with many thoughtful touches throughout. Huge bonus to have many perfect spots to sit and relax in the garden and absolutely love the ‘hot chocolate hut’! Great walks from the doorstep, super path to Kirkby Lonsdale and loads of places to visit and eat. Thanks Fiona for a really lovely weekend and a beautiful and very generous welcome basket - we look forward to returning as a weekend was far too short to enjoy the area and the Hideaway!

Ray and Sue made our stay amazing. We loved the surroundings and the efforts of the gardens. Caton is a beautiful village with everything you need at your fingertips. We enjoyed our stay and the access to the walks nearby. We completed the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail which was only a 30 minute drive away. The Station pub served lovely food and had a wonderful garden, it was only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Thank you for looking after us
