Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Morgantown

We had a great time celebrating our daughter's college graduation. The spacious house and deck was great for everyone to mingle without tripping over anyone. Definitely would recommend this place for your next gathering.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! My family and I had the best time. Gorgeous and clean home with extra amenities and goodies in the kitchen. The fire pit outside is wonderful. Though it was a cold Memorial Day Weekend, we made the best of it enjoying the comfy home and watching a movie. Someone in the guest book talked about counting the bears in the house.. they got 151, we got 163! Between the adults it was a funny game to compete who could get the most! Thank you Greg and Denise for a wonderful stay!

We had a little problem! Not her fault! Had a storm and the electric went off. Sherry came right over with lights and was very helpful’ the kids enjoyed no electric for awhile and practiced chess! She has lots of games! We went for the Blue snd z gray Reunion! Great!

Beautiful, quiet and clean house. Had everything you need. The chalkboard wall is a cute touch. Would definitely stay again.

Great vacation. Wendy was the best host we have ever had—responsive and generous. The house itself was one of the best stocked rentals we have ever been in. We loved the use of the kayaks and would absolutely come back to enjoy Alpine Lake here again. Very relaxed, friendly vibe within the whole community.

Stacy was extremely responsive and quickly called me to answer my questions. The house is so cute with ample space for a family or small group of friends. We loved the location as we were close to restaurants and attractions. Being next to the main road allows for traffic noise, but it was worth it for being on the water and the great location.

Staying here was an absolutely peaceful and relaxing experience. From the minute we arrived we felt more than at home, it was perfectly clean and felt very cozy. The extra touches of complimentary cinnamon swirl bread, popcorn and much more made for a very relaxing experience. It was great to spend some much needed time away hiking in some of the local parks. It was a cute little carriage house apartment. The jetted tub was nice, it had a coffee pot and blackout curtains. Though we didn’t use it, there were EV charging stations and worth noting. It’s about 5 miles from Oakland proper and 10 miles from the touristy part of Deep Creek, so close enough but far away enough. If you are looking for a place to get away with amazing views and to check out from the real world, this is the spot. Kam was responsive when we did message her. Definitely would recommend.

The Lucky Duck is a very calm and relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed the views and the local population of ducks and geese who welcomed us as we came and went. The place was spotless & spacious and had all the little things we needed for a great visit. Would highly recommend booking.

I had an outstanding stay at this Airbnb! This is my second stay and Diana’s home is exceptionally clean. It’s beautifully appointed with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Nestled in a peaceful natural setting near the river, it offered the perfect combination of seclusion and convenience. The large deck was a highlight—spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with grills, making it a great spot to unwind after a day of biking or exploring. The property is a short ride into town off the GAP bike path, which made it incredibly easy to get out and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Despite its quiet location, it’s just a short walk to a fantastic coffee shop (don’t miss the scones at the Tissue Farm !) and several excellent restaurants. This place truly offers the best of both worlds—tranquility and accessibility. I highly recommend it and would gladly return!

Jesse’s place is wonderful! Beyond clean and cozy, with comfortable furniture and bedding. Smelled great and quickly felt at home. Loved the decorations & was pleasantly surprised with the extra throw blankets and milk/sugar for my coffee. Would love to stay again

We booked this place last minute for a snowboarding getaway for a rare Maryland powder day! This place is central, located less than 5 minutes from the ski resort and restauraunts in the area. The hot tub after a day on the slopes was a hit. Cozy, had everything we needed. We were plowed out and the walkway was shoveled for us. Low maintenance for visitors! We would definitely book again!

Patty is a treasure. If you stay here, make sure you’re good to her! She has some rescued Dalmatians named Mickey and Minnie that will talk to you as you walk up and down the stairs, but if you’re a dog person like me you’ll just talk back some haha. I loved everything about Patty’s place, and it gave our drummer a spot to catch some more than needed rest. He was able to sleep for a whole day because of how comfortable and peaceful this place is. There’s some good food at the restaurant right on the corner, and a gas station nearby, which was really nice. Patty was very responsive and a great communicator. We talked for a good half hour or so on the porch and I enjoyed every minute! For the price and how close it is to Morgantown you cannot beat this place. It is SO much better than staying in the city! We’ve done both, and now we will be paying Patty a visit every time we are in the area!
