There are many sightseeing spots such as production direct markets, hot springs, and cycling roads nearby, so I recommend staying overnight. Please use it as a base for sightseeing around Azumino for your vacation with your family and friends. It is surrounded by a quiet residential area, so please refrain from chatting loudly outside. Parking is available for up to 2 regular cars. Bicycle rentals (up to 3) are also available.

Good access to Shimosuwa Station! We renovated an 80-year-old Japanese house into a traditional and clean space. (New open in 2023!) You can spend a comfortable time by renting the entire building. Recommended for families, couples and small groups. This area is rich in history and nature. Suwa Taisha Shrine, hot springs, Nakasendo. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.

Hodaka Ariake Rental Farmhouse Azumino-an

Azumino Hotaka's exclusive rental farmhouse "Azumino-an" is a traditional farmhouse surrounded by rice fields and farmland in the rural area of Hotaka Ariake. When guests stay, the on-site staff will be in a separate building. Guests can relax with family or groups in this calm, Japanese-style private space. Meals are self-catered. It is perfect for experiencing life in Azumino, exploring the Azumino area, or as a base for climbing Mount Jonen or Mount Tsubakuro.
