Campsite holiday rentals in Morocco

Very nice tent stay in the desert near Zagora. The tents are 15 minutes away from Zagora and the trip can be made by car or by camel. The dinner served was a delicious tajine and a breakfast was served in the morning. The camel ride is a great addition as well.

Juste parfait Ce n’est pas mon premier séjour au bivouac des aigles, et je suis toujours aussi ravie. Toute l’équipe est accueillante et les lieux sont magnifiques. Wir hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit bei Tarik und seinem Team in der Nähe von Zagora, mitten in der Wüste. Das Camp war wunderschön gelegen und sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Die Übernachtung war komfortabel, das Essen super lecker und die Abendunterhaltung einfach fantastisch – mit Musik, Tanz und richtig guter Stimmung unter dem Sternenhimmel. Auch das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Es gibt im Camp verschiedene Möglichkeiten für Freizeitaktivitäten, sodass es nie langweilig wird. Auf Tariks Empfehlung hin sind wir am zweiten Tag noch tiefer in die Wüste gefahren und haben dort eine weitere Nacht verbracht – eine einmalige Erfahrung! Die Kommunikation mit Tarik war jederzeit reibungslos. Er ist ein unglaublich herzlicher und freundlicher Gastgeber, der sich wirklich um seine Gäste kümmert. Vielen Dank für diese besondere Zeit – wir kommen gerne wieder!

We spent 2 nights at Mohammed's camp. 2 adults + 4 children (4 and 5). Just a lovely experience to camp in the desert, even in end of December. Mohammed made sure to help us out with everything for an unforgettable experience. Camp is all you need to properly disconnect. We were arranged with many different activities around. We had half-board and camel transport to and from the camp included. Food was incredible. Probably the best we had in Morocco. Mohammed and his crew were incredibly kind. Amazing hospitality. Great people who try everything to make your stay really special. Highly recommend!

Sarah helped us with all arrangements getting from Marrakech to her place. The driver she arranged was professional and knowledgeable. Mohammed welcomed us at the camp and was helpful and always available for our next adventure! While all the adventures in the desert were amazing, reading and enjoying the quiet were fantastic. Thank you for all your help Sarah!

Exceptionnel ! Le site est incroyable et d'un calme absolu, loin du bruit du village. Les hôtes sont accueillants et aux petits soins. Vraiment magique !

Amazing experience with a great team

Beside the beautiful scenery Bivouac offers some berber tents which are simple as we expect. But what we found were also clean toilet and clean hot shower. A genuine place and a great host. Moha was considerate and friendly and we felt always comfortable.

We zijn heel goed ontvangen. In de namiddag konden we nog genieten van het zwembad alvorens met de dromedarissen de Sahara in te gaan. We hebben een kamer ter beschikking gekregen om ons vooraf en achteraf op te frissen. Ook onze bagage konden we daar achter laten. De tocht naar het kamp duurt 1u30 en is enorm afgelegen. Heerlijk gevoel. In de avond konden we samen muziek maken en kregen we een heerlijke maaltijd. Jammer genoeg is er tijdens de nacht een zandstorm opgekomen wat het zien van de zonsopgang onmogelijk maakte. Maar ook de weg terug in de zandstorm was een heus avontuur. Terug aan het hotel konden we ons opfrissen en kregen we nog een goed ontbijt. Een echte aanrader!

Excellent séjour à la Kasbah des sables. Très bien encadré et sûr pour des femmes voyageants seules. Le trip et la nuit dans le désert sont incroyables. Très bien organisé et encadré, tout en étant complètement dépaysant. Le camp est en plein désert avec juste la lune et les étoiles. Le repas servi est délicieux (tajine berbère, salade et fruits fruits), préparés par nos guides. Le retour au matin permet de voir le levé de soleil sur les dunes. Puis retour à la kasbah pour un délicieux petit-déjeuner. Autour de la Kasbah, je recommande le dépôt nomade. Dépôt permettant aux familles berbères de vendre via une coopérative leur travail. De l’artisanat de grande qualité. Les bains de sables proposés par la Kasbah sont également à faire. Expérience incroyable et délassante. Youssef est un hôte prévenant et très bien organisé. L’arrivée en bus de Supratour est juste devant la kasbah et le retour également. Encore merci pour cette merveilleuse expérience, humaine et culturelle 🙏

What an amazing experience! It’s beyond beautiful taking the camel ride out to the camp. The guides put on an amazing dinner and music with drums and singing! They got the whole camp up and dancing around the fire. The stars were stunning. I woke up early to go outside in the dark (5:30am) and saw so many shooting stars. I will definitely use Hannan for future trips in Morocco and actually would have loved staying longer in the Desert. Highly recommend.

The camp is a magic place for real sahara experience in a less touristic and individual way. I had a wonderful time, the camp is simple but beautiful and very peaceful, a real desert camp, amidst the dunes and millions of stars at night. Younes and his team are wonderful and caring and they are excellent cooks as well, the food was so delicious. A real amazing experience was my four days hike to Chegaga - it is absolutely incredible to stay out there in total lonesomeness, I learned so much about the desert, camels and nomade life. If you don´t have time to walk to Chegaga book at least the 4x4 tour with an overnight stay, it´s such a feeling of freedom and solitude to cross the desert you will never forget!

L’expérience dans le désert avec Mhamed était extraordinaire du début à la fin. Nous avons été accueilli avec un thé délicieux, fait une magnifique promenade dans les dunes au coucher du soleil. Nous avons fait une balade à dos de dromadaire jusqu’à notre tente berbère (merci encore pour la surprise à l’arrivée Mhamed, vraiment mille merci !). La tente était somptueuse, Mhamed nous a raconté de belles anecdotes, nous avons vu le the et mangé avec les touristes qui étaient là, c’était convivial et un réel moment de partage. La nourriture du repas du soir et du petit déjeuner était excellente. Nous avons fait de la musique berbère avec Mhamed et un ami berbère a lui le soir après le repas ! Le lever du soleil sur les dunes le lendemain matin était à couper le souffle. Mhamed nous a même laissé utilisé les sandboard du camp avant de partir. Je recommande à 100% à toutes les personnes qui souhaitent vivre une expérience unique dans le désert, nous avons des étoiles plein les yeux encore maintenant. Merci Mhamed, merci merci !!!

Nous avions choisi des activités en même temps que le logement. Très bon séjour. Arrivé à Merzouga Mohamed ( le chauffeur/guide) est venu nous chercher pour nous emmener dans le camp dans le désert en jeep. Les tentes sont très bien. Il y a un bloc sanitaire avec wc et douche. L’électricité dans les tentes. Les repas sont bons. Mohamed ( le serveur) est vraiment super sympa, il n’a pas beaucoup de vocabulaire en français, mais nous avons bien rigoler avec lui, toujours près à vouloir aider ou discuter. Nous avons ensuite fait une visite des peuples berbères non loin du camp. C’est assez particulier de «  visiter » la misère des gens. Puis ensuite visite des peuples Maliens musiciens. Au camp nous avons également profité d’une soirée musique berbère c’était bien sympa. Merci à tous les Mohamed :)

Staying with Omar and Hassan was a good decision there’s a lot of camp around more than 200 and quality can differ, the camping has a nice setting, some Hamacs to chill or even table with chairs. Everything was clean and service very professional, I recommend, just take in note that you need to pay additional money for camel ride and food. On the food the quality was nice and quantity was enough to eat fully. Breakfast was also good

Our stay was perfect and just as we had expected. The tent was super comfortable and probably one the best sleeps of our trip, despite being in a tent. The temperature was perfect and the food (specifically dinner) was lovely. Omar was also super responsive and even went above and beyond to help us get our car out of a jam in the sand dunes! And the camel ride he arranged was probably the most memorable part of our trip. Definitely worth what we paid and then some. Highly recommend!

Best Riad and best Desert experience, we went by Camel in the desert and saw sunset and sunrise from the dunes! Amazing!

This is a cool place to stay if you are looking for something a bit different. The tent was clean and cosy and with plenty of space inside. The shower was hot and the toilets were nice and clean. The restaurant area was a nice place to relax and we enjoyed both the dinner and breakfast. Stephanie was a great host and very patient with our two year old daughter.

Es war ein tolles Erlebnis im Dar InaCamp. Ali hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns das Gefühl gegeben, willkommen zu sein und Ruhe zu finden. Jeder Einzelne im Camp war absolut nett und zuvorkommend, interessiert und freundlich. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Es herrscht ein tolles Miteinander dort. Die Zelte sind super geräumig und deren Verteilung im Camp ist weitläufig, sodass man viel persönlichen Raum hat. Es gibt auch einen Gemeinschaftsbereich, der sehr schön ist, genauso wie der Essenssaal. Letztlich wird uns wohl immer die wunderbare Stille in Erinnerung bleiben, die uns neue Energie gegeben hat und den Fokus aufs Wesentliche ermöglicht. Danke an alle vom Dar InaCamp für das tolle Erlebnis. <3
