Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Mortain-Bocage

David was very warm and welcoming and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved the house which was very spacious and comfortable for five of us. The garden was a delight with beautiful roses in bloom and it was quiet and sheltered to sit out in and listen to the birdsong. It was quite one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in.

A real slice of heaven… We loved the barn! The perfect place to relax in the middle of nature, and enjoy the surrounding cities and Mont Saint Michel without being in the middle of the crowd all the time. This little house has been renovated with great taste, it's warm and you feel so good there. It's even more beautiful than in the photos, what a surprise when you arrive in the room... The garden is beautiful and very relaxing. And the hosts are lovely. Go there without so much as a second thought!

Small house, very friendly, very clean and quiet… great outdoor area. We came to the area for a wedding, it's a shame we couldn't enjoy it more.

We felt at home!! Staying with Véronique and Jean Jacques was just AMAZING. In another word, I can't describe that. There were four of us with a young child and there was nothing missing. The accommodation is well equipped and offers everything your heart desires and is missing what or you have a concern, the two hosts are immediately there for you. We were even greeted with homemade sausages and other delicacies and Jean Jacques asked us if we, as he himself is traveling with his food truck at the surrounding markets, whether he should bring us fresh oysters. Especially with children, the accommodation is perfect because you have the huge fenced garden with swings, toys and large meadow at your disposal and all to yourself. Excursions to nearby sights are also possible without far driving. We will definitely be back and can 100% recommend this fantastic house

Very nice place. Quiet outside, except for the birds singing! Extremely well-appointed rustic interior with all the necessary amenities and comforts. We felt like we were in a very cozy Normandy cottage. Our hosts welcomed us with kindness and gave us some activity tips, even though we already had some goals. The exchanges were marked by simplicity and cordiality. There is a cottage and adjoining guest rooms and it is also a good place. We highly recommend this place.

The geographical location of this accommodation is perfect for discovering the bay of Mont Saint Michel. The house and the large garden are very well maintained. Everything was perfect, we didn't miss anything. Dominique is a very friendly, pleasant and helpful host. She quickly told us about the surroundings, and gave us all the information we needed before and during our stay. Very attentive to our needs. We thank Dominique very much for her welcome and all her little touches that made our stay unforgettable. We felt at home and our exchanges were very friendly. We'll be happy to go back!

We had a wonderful short break whilst visiting family in the area. The property is very well equipped and homely, but unfortunately we did not have the chance to enjoy all that was on offer due to being so busy exploring. The town is lovely and with easy parking outside the property, we were able to make the most of the location. It will be our ‘go-to’ for future visits.

Very nice experience! This is what I call immersive accommodation. The bed is super comfortable and the sheets are soft. The accommodation is clean and perfectly equipped. We felt good there right away. We leave with very good memories and we can't wait to come back this fall.

This is a place managed by a lovely couple and definitely a wonderful place to stay for holidays with families and friends. We had very good time there. The whole Castel is surrounded by a very beautiful tropical Garten with flowers, kids had lots of funs in the swimmen pool which only belong to us at the time. From every room we can see the beautiful view of Le Mont St. Michel and about 10 min of walk way reaching to the see beach. Kitchen is sufficient, living room is big. Definitely would recommend to others!

This place was perfect for us. We had 4 families meeting together and we had the best time, so many games and toys to play with. And the pool was lively, clean and easy to use. plenty of everything you'd need in the kitchen and plenty of space to eat together as a group, inside and out. We visited beaches of Normandy and Mont St. Michel on different days during our stay which we're both full day excursions, but definitely do-able. I highly recommend.

We loved our stay in Mayenne in this property that perfectly kept all its promises. The host was really friendly and very flexible, which made our arrival and departure much easier. We had a great time with the family for the Christmas holidays. The house was perfectly true to the description, as well as the promised view, no disappointment! moreover the house had been decorated for Christmas! the house is large and very warm and really conducive to family gatherings! in addition the hosts are very responsive and friendly , we had a small power outage at 10pm which was fixed very quickly with Sebastien's assistance. The game room and hot tub are really a plus , as well as the large fireplace that allows long cocooning evenings in the living room . We'll definitely be back!

Alain is a serious and welcoming host. Its authentic accommodation and in a very beautiful place next to a charming church, and in the middle of the fields. Highly recommended. However, be sure to take into account the dry toilet system for larger groups, so you can organize yourself during your stay.
