Stay & relax in our cozy cottage with views of the rolling hills of the French countryside. Located in lower Normandy, our self catering cottage is surrounded by sweet little villages with shops, outdoor markets & more. Plenty of brocantes in the area for those who love to thrift. Mont St Michel is just under an hour & the WWII beaches are 1.5 hrs away. Just down the road is a family friendly entertainment park open in summer months only. Plus wonderful orchards to visit for a calvados tasting.

Dating back to the 1700’s this servant’s cottage has been lovingly refurbished whilst still remaining true to its character with the addition of a modern compact but functional kitchenette it retains the original beams doors and fire place-plus a secret door to the servant staircase! This gite is tucked away right in the heart of this beautiful, rural, French village. A short 2 minute walk from the local bakery, butchers, supermarket, pharmacy, bank and bar/restaurant . Relax at this unique and cute little house. Situated in the town yet still in a peaceful location with lovely views from the garden. A very short walk to all the local amenities including a bakery, bar, restaurant and pharmacy. There is also clog museum situated next door if you want to make your own wooden shoes. Turn left out the house and you are on a nice country walk. The lake is a short walk away with childrens park and fishing. Parking next to the house in front of the mini golf.

In the countryside 3.5km outside of Sourdeval this house offers a great base from which to explore all that Normandy has to offer. The house features two bedrooms, each with comfortable double bed and private bathroom. There is a light filled kitchen and down the spiral staircase there is a large open plan living and dining room with a log burner. Private Carp Fishing lake where guests can enjoy fishing for large wild Carp (Common and Mirror) Rudd, Roach, Perch and other wild species for "Catch And Release" only. Smaller (lower lake) access by special permission only.

Above the scenic Varenne river valley, this 300-year-old stone cottage has spectacular views of the chateau above and the ancient Notre Dame church below. Complete with a private meadow garden, we are just a 5 minute walk into the medieval city of Domfront with its cafes, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Rich with history, beautiful flowers and breathtaking views of the sweeping woodland valley, it is a timelessly beautiful landscape.
