My husband and I just stayed a week at the Eclectic Apartment. We could not have found a better place to stay! Location was perfect for us...not right in the tourist section of Lake Placid, but very centrally located in the area for everything we planned to do. The 6" of snow we got the first night we were there could have been worrisome, but we woke up to find the driveway already plowed and ready for driving. The area got 2-3" of snow several days we were there and every morning, the driveway was plowed so we could start our adventure for that day. Cross Country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and of course, downtown shopping and eating...we did it all. Will highly recommend this "very well stocked & comfortable" apartment to anyone.

My wife and I really enjoyed our time at Sara’s place. The space itself is very clean and is probably the most well-appointed Air BnB we’ve stayed in. Sara has definitely gone the extra mile to provide a great kitchen set up, really nice shower and bathroom and a washer/dryer in the unit. We slept great on the very comfortable king size bed and the stream located directly down the hill provides great natural white noise! The location is convenient to Keene, Keene Valley and Elizabethtown and with many trailheads within a 10 minute drive. Sara’s plot itself is a beautiful property with a cascading stream and trails she invites guests to explore, it is truly a tranquil setting we wish we could spend more time in. Sara is a generous, responsive host and all of the thoughtful amenities really made us feel welcome!

Loved my stay at Emily’s place. Lots of windows facing the woods, so I got to see deer, groundhogs, chipmunks, and birds from my comfy surroundings. In addition to the hot tub and sauna, there’s a little manmade pond teeming with tadpoles and other aquatic critters. Didn’t need bug spray, but she had thoughtfully provided some. The Airbnb and owner’s home are situated on a mountain with a 3-mile hiking trail to the summit. (I drove to the trailhead; it felt like a couple miles.) The place is secluded but close to town. Perfect for my solo trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Edward's place. It was private and peaceful as well as cozy and we felt right at home. Our favorite was relaxing in front of the fireplace every morning with a cup of coffee. We really can't say enough about this studio. It was nicely decorated and stocked with many little extras. Edward's place is in a perfect location for visiting Lake Placid or Saranac Lake. We definitely plan on coming back!

We loved our stay. The well-maintained cabin is in a quiet and relaxing environment with a great view. It's close to many trails for great hiking in the mountains. Kristy and Jim are great hosts who are very nice and very responsive, which makes it easy to have a great and enjoyable stay. We are looking forward to return for some more relaxing and hiking in the future.

Brooke’s listing is better than images and description and was exactly the romantic weekend getaway we needed. peaceful and private location, incredibly clean and beautifully furnished. Kitchen was perfect size for what we needed and fire-pit was a major plus. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again here.
