I got this Airbnb for friends coming into Vancouver where I live from Missouri. You definitely need a rental car as this location is in a residential neighborhood. They said it was quiet and peaceful enough for them. However, there are no restaurants, grocery stores or other stores in the immediate neighborhood. For those from out of town and flying into and out of Portland you have to allow for rush hour traffic depending on the arrival and departure of your flights. It can be either a 20 minute drive or 40 minute drive depending on rush hour traffic. Our friends said that the place was immauclate and had all the necessary items that one would expect from a Airbnb. They also said they would stay here again when returning to Vancouver for a visit.

We could not have been happier! The house is stunning. Julie thought of everything we could have needed. The house is beautifully decorated , very comfortable beds and the kitchen was so thoroughly stocked, they even had a waffle maker! Chilly Washington mornings were so peaceful sipping our coffee by the fire pit in the backyard. Julie stayed in touch and checked in to make sure we were comfortable and to see if there was anything else we needed. We chose this house as it is very close to the family we were visiting. The Haven is now our go-to home any time we are in the WA area! Can’t wait to be back! Everything was perfect!

Absolutely loved Mel’s place! Beautiful area and quiet. Actually got to meet him and got a really nice tour of their farm. Funny as all get out when we turned around and we had a group of ducks following us to make sure we were on our best behavior. Definitely a place we will stay again when in the area! Thank you Mel!!
