Cabin holiday rentals in Muir Beach

Velouria is a lovely and tranquil place to stay in the Guerneville area nestled amongst the beautiful redwoods. Everything was exactly as described and had all we needed for our three night stay. I do recommend grabbing some firewood at one of the local wood spots (descriptions provided in the check in/rental information) or Safeway just a short drive into town - Even though it was mid June and warm during the day, having a fire at night was a great way to keep the residence toasty and cozy as it can cool down at night quite a bit! The hot tub was also a wonderful addition, clean and spacious and as others have sed, nearly floating amongst the trees on the lowest deck. Shane was our main contact during the stay and communication was friendly, clear, and super chill! Thank you so much!

We had an excellent stay. All the amenities one could want: hot tub, full kitchen, grill, patio table, walking distance to town. Everything was in working order! Only 2 things to note: close to main road though gets quiet at night; and in the redwoods so darker than expected inside but fine with lights on and window shades open.

I had a lovely and relaxing stay at Chad’s cozy and well appointed home surrounded by beautiful redwoods. This is a great spot for those traveling with pets; the deck is secure and the neighborhood is nice for walking. I appreciated having a 4-wheel drive vehicle to navigate the neighborhood with ease. Bed is super comfy and the hot tub was appreciated after hiking in the area, of which there are a variety of options. I hope to return one day!

Chad was super responsive, getting back to me immediately texting in realtime on the app about my questions. The hottub exceeded my expectations- natural cedar, no chlorine, no plastics… nicely maintained, so rare for a rental! Beautiful to soak in the deck surrounded by redwoods, super peaceful . Even had a few hummingbirds buzz thru this morning. Thank you, Chad🙏🏽

We have stayed at Nathan’s cottage several times and each time is absolutely incredible! The cottage is so comfortable and beautifully decorated, the surroundings are stunning, and Nathan is so wonderful to communicate with. You just feel surrounded by the nature and beauty of the area. We spent so much time being outside on the lovely deck just soaking up the ambience of the outdoors. It’s such a treat to visit time after time.

The house was perfect getaway for a relaxing spring break with my two tween kids and dog. It's definitely a place you want to cozy up in and read a book when it rains. It was decorated beautifully. The master bedroom was great, best night sleep and the little hidden loft was great for my kids. Did not miss having a TV, loved the record player and it offered us time to disconnect and play a lot of board games. However, wifi was strong when the kids did want to play/watch things on their tablets. Scenery around the house is stunning and it's close by the Sea Ranch Lodge if we wanted to go out for breakfast or dinner. Not too far from Stewarts Point General Store as well which was a cute spot. My kids loved the place so much they asked if we could move there!

Thank you for a wonderful stay! We had a very cozy stay and the place was great for a weekend getaway with dogs. It was super helpful also to be walking distance from the grocery store! We also cooked a few meals with the kitchen and grill and had no problems making what we wanted. Great collection of spices too. Thank you again!

Ila's place was very nice. My husband and I were there to spend the Christmas Holidays with family. It was neat, clean, exactly as described and very comfortable. The area was very safe, quiet and close to many amenities. Ila was very responsive each and every time! It made everything very easy. While I can see that the drive way may be difficult for some, Ila's instructions were excellent and easy to follow. We really liked that the space was private. The bed was very comfortable which was very welcome after a cross country late night flight. We found her place to be very clean and she added many extras such as Christmas lights and flowers. The extra touches always make you feel at home. We would be happy to go back to Ila's place. Thank you! Donna and Robert

We had a wonderful stay at David's TreeHouse Cabin! The redwoods surrounding it set the perfect backdrop for a morning on the front deck or a night on the back patio stargazing. The floor-to-ceiling windows and skylight really make you feel up in the trees, and we really loved cozying up by the wood fireplace in the evenings. Bathroom is small but gets the job done. Relaxing and a perfect retreat!

This sweet home was everything I was looking for and more. The location is incredible, so close to hiking trails, the coast, cute towns, and great restaurants. Absolutely loved how quiet and peaceful the home was a long with the beautiful natural lighting and decor. We felt right at home and wouldn't hesitate to return and recommend Megan's home to all!

Amazing little spot for our family of four!

Staying at this cabin nestled in the heart of a redwood grove in the Santa Cruz mountains was truly magical. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this wasn't just a place to stay — it was a carefully curated experience. The host has thought of everything to make guests feel at home and beyond comfortable. The attention to detail was incredible: high-quality toiletries, a well-stocked pantry with essentials (and then some!), soft, luxurious bedding, and even thoughtfully placed candles that added a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Every touch felt intentional and generous. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the host. Incredibly accommodating, kind, and flexible — they went out of their way to ensure every one of our needs was met with care and promptness. It’s rare to come across someone so committed to hospitality. Waking up surrounded by towering redwoods, with birdsong filtering through the trees, was unforgettable.

Our stay was. perfection. Of course the scenery is the main attraction but this cabin made it all the more amazing. Loved the rustic feel, with just the right amount of fun, creative interior design. Everything you could want was always right there, easy to find. We spent most of our time on the deck, unwinding from our busy lives and I hope to do it again soon! Thank you

Loved staying at Lorri & Cookies' lovely home! It was so clean and well kept inside. They welcomed us with freshly baked cookies, wine, and lovely notes. Truly a hidden gem! We'd 100% stay again. Only note - the sun room gets a bit cold! So just be sure to use the extra covers that Lorri / Cookie provide :)

Beautiful place, right by Tomales Bay. Very calm, quiet and relaxing. Caroline and Clara are wonderful hosts. Prompt and clear in their communication. Would most definitely come back. Note for future renters : The nearest gas station is about 7.5 miles away

We had an absolutely wonderful three night stay at this cozy and beautifully styled cabin. The location is perfect, nestled in the woods with beautiful surroundings we immediately felt relaxed. The owners have truly thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and memorable, and they were super responsive to anything we needed. Our favorite thing was the fire and the hammock, where we spent long mornings just laying together and watching the trees sway above us. The wood burning stove made for the most romantic nights, and the jacuzzi was such a relaxing treat after our adventures. The interior is stunning with thoughtful touches and design choices that made it feel both modern but still cozy and welcoming. We’re already planning our next trip here and definitely for a longer stay. We couldn’t find a single thing to critique. It was just perfect. Highly recommend this gem!

We enjoyed this home so much! It was so relaxing and peaceful to stay here, right in the middle of the redwoods. The location is super convenient and parking is not hard as long as you are driving up with a 4WD like Jessica suggested. Jessica is a great host too - she's very responsive and provides clear instructions that make the whole process smooth and stress free.

The Santa Cruz A-frame was such a serene retreat into the mountains for us, and an antidote to our overly digital and urban lives. Things we appreciated: easy parking, both an upstairs and downstairs bathroom, full kitchen supplies, private balcony, gorgeous forest views, creek in the back, and easy access to Loch Lomond (peddle boating on the lake was so peaceful), the redwood state park (hiking in the largely shaded trail was great on an otherwise sunny day), and local groceries and food (enjoyed the cute outdoor patio in the back of The Grove cafe and bakery). We had a wonderful rest!

Katy was kind and friendly! Met my dad and I and shared common hometowns! Beautiful and peaceful get away. I highly recommend to families, friends and all… loved the mama energy and I will definitely feel blessed to stay again!!! Thank YOU Katy!

Wow! Aggies place provided a peaceful retreat from the “real world”. It was both cozy and open. Both bedrooms were a good size with plenty of room to move around. Everything about it was well designed and easy to utilize. All of the clear instructions were very helpful. Aggie was a very proactive, friendly and responsive host.

The Treehouse was exactly what we needed. A peaceful retreat in a beautiful location. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The hot tub was a real treat! I appreciated all of the cute labels throughout the home that helped us locate items and replace them in the correct spots. I would definitely return. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay! The neighborhood is so peaceful and Noelle's yard is absolutely gorgeous. The bed was comfortable and we loved waking up and seeing tree-covered hills out the window. And the cat, Kiwi, was so sweet and friendly!
