Parkgate Farm Holidays is a peaceful farmstead site with a few sheep and friendly donkeys at the foot of the Eskdale and Wasdale valleys in Cumbria's Western Lakeland. High Eskholme is a detached cottage sitting in the heart of Eskdale estate set within the valley of Eskdale in the western Lake District, an area of outstanding natural beauty . On stepping out of the front door, there are walks for all abilities, over Muncaster Fell, a flat walk through woodland or walks along the river Esk. For the more ambitious, Scafell pike and the Wasdale Valley are just a car ride away, or Perhaps you would like to play the stunning 18 hole golf course, or fish the Esk.

A beautiful little yurt, sleeps 2, either a double or twin. Set next to a bubbling stream on a working lakeland sheep farm. On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.
