A peaceful and comfortable place. The ac was such a relief from the 90+ temps outside, which made sleeping so comfortable. The first night there was a power outage. We since learned this is very unusual for more than a a couple minutes. But maybe pack a little battery fan just in case. So far it's our favorite spot to stay in Guasacate. Very spacious, peaceful, and secluded.. The stars were beautiful. Ian and Sydney answered any questions we had promptly. 5 stars!

Darcy was helpful and was able to accommodate me really well. I stayed a month and a half and a motorcycle rental is an asset to the location. The beach in front is great for surfing in the summer months.

I stayed here for a month and really loved it! It's in a great location, not far from the two main beaches in the area, but also quiet and tucked away. Very tranquil. The house is super clean and has everything you need for a long-ish term stay. Zivile is an excellent host and is very helpful and responsive.

Mahalo was an amazing place to relax! We stayed at Villa Palmera, the house was spacious and just right for a couple and two friends. I truly recommend it! From the beginning, they helped us with transfers from San José to Mahalo, making sure everything went smoothly and comfortably. They even waited for us on their day off! Thefood and smoothies at restaurant were delicious! I can’t finish this review without mentioning the wonderful staff — everyone was so kind and helpful.
