Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Stay cozy and peaceful in an old half-timbered house from the 1800s. The location is rural with animals and nature just outside the door but at the same time close to the city, restaurants, restaurants, entertainment, shopping and beach/swimming. Follow the Fyrstien towards old Gilleleje, or in the opposite direction towards Nakkehoved Lighthouse, from where there is a breathtaking view. It is possible to borrow men's and women's bike, with gear. Older models!

Annex in Helsinge overlooking fields and forests

This natural gem is located north of Helsinge in Kongernes Nordsjælland overlooking open fields and forests. It is 200 meters to the forest where there are good chances of going mushroom hunting or just taking a walk in the beautiful nature. It is very common for forest animals to walk right outside the windows. For example, it can be roe deer, fallow deer and red deer. You can charge your electric car with us. We have separate electricity meters, so you will be charged according to the daily rates found at other public charging stations.

The cozy and secluded 40 m2 holiday apartment/annex with bathroom and kitchen, has access to its own wooden terrace/garden with garden furniture in the summer months.

Gilbjergstien B&B A lovely, bright cottage on Gilbjergstien with beautiful views of Kattegat, The Sound and Kullen. The cottage is set back in an old garden and has its own sunny veranda and terrace. In addition, you will have your own exit to Gilbjergstien, with direct access to the city and hiking trails along the sea. Leave your car. You won't need it anymore. The cottage is in walking distance to everything in Gilleleje. Enjoy the quiet evenings and watch the big ships sail by.

The house is located in beautiful quiet natural surroundings down to Esrum Å. From the house there are views of the garden, river and fields. Next to the house is the main house where sometimes there can be someone. The house is nice with a nice kitchen and bathroom and everything a house should have. 10 min walk from lovely sandy beach. There is free access to kayaks, sup, firepit, bikes and fishing poles. New VILDMARKSBAD and ICE BATH are for a fee.

The Black Cottage + Orangery

Available from April 1. - October 31. The Black Cottage and orangery are parts of the historical place called Skippergaarden (Skipper´s Residence) Fabersvej 2c, in the old Gilleleje. Skipper´s Residence is built in 1797 with last remodeling done in 2003/4. The Black Cottage from 1892, when summer residents became popular. Last remodeling 2019/21. The orangery is from 2009. We have wi-fi and parking available.

Hornbæk - two minutes from Hornbæk Plantage

The apartment is in a quiet residential neighborhood. There is a two-minute walk to Hornbæk Plantage. It is a dog forest and it only takes 10 minutes to walk down to the coast. Dogs are welcome, but we are old school and do not accept dogs in the bed, chair, sofa and other furniture. Your dog must be able to sleep on the floor and we are happy to provide a dog bed.
