The host is great with communication and I especially appreciated that things are labeled and organized in the kitchen. The bedroom and bathroom are clean and towels and utensils provided. This unit has high ceilings and plenty of space in the main area. The location is on a quieter street in the small downtown area of Upland, there is a small Mariscos restaurant next door and a ramen cafe around the corner as well as greenhouse matcha and mestiza coffeehouse a few blocks away. It’s easy to access the units upon arrival, just a staircase up to the lodging area. Because they are above the street noise from the mariscos bar at night and the street is removed from directly affecting your space. Overall the town is so peaceful. The windows afford light and the streets are breezy and quiet. Laundry is just a couple doors away from the unit. Parking is plentiful.

An excellent choice for accommodation—clean, secure, and with great amenities. Whether you're traveling for work or leisure, this place delivers comfort and convenience. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

We really enjoyed getting out of the city this weekend. Susan’s place is tucked away and peaceful, and it was beautiful! We loved lounging by the pool and hearing all the birds, seeing her horses, and hearing the frogs and crickets at night. Definitely a good place to unwind if you are looking for a place to relax. Susan was really quick to respond to issues and was very proactive. Good place for a couple - just a note that there isn’t a complete closure to the bathroom, but that didn’t bother us at all.

Todd was super friendly and always very responsive. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The apartment is tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for our month long stay. The property is also extremely beautiful! Overall an amazing stay and would 100% recommend!

Jordan’s place was an amazing space to hold my family and siblings’ families. Everyone felt comfortable and cared for. Even for the kiddos!! We loved how walkable it was for everything we wanted to do for the weekend as a family!!

My daughter got married at Casa Romantica and this was a perfect location. It is also walking distance to Avenida Cabrillo and Avenida del Mar where there is a variety of shops and restaurants. The beach is also close, about 1/2 a mile or so, if you are in the mood to relax to the sound of the waves. I was very pleased with my stay. Thank you.

Good communication, host has been very responsive. My guests loved the place, and it worked well with the composition of the group (my nephew, the youngest member of the group at 39, had no issues with the room with the bunkbeds). Overall, very good value, certainly given the excellent location (beach and pier, restaurants, Thursday's night market) all are on short walking distance. In terms of maintenance some parts of the house felt a bit neglected, in particular the front door with peeling paint and the rooftop seating, which has a somewhat 'barren' appearance.

Michaels place was beautiful! From the white picket fence to open kitchen and beautiful interior. We felt right at home! Thank you Michael for being so accommodating and answering all our questions!

Great weekend trip to Idyllwild, with house located in a beautiful spot on Strawberry Creek. Nice open space living and dining area looking out to the creek and big outdoor deck to enjoy the weather and watch the birds and squirrels. Easy walk on the trail to Idyllwild Brewpub and the rest of the town.

Spent the weekend here with my girlfriends for my birthday and we had the best time! The house is soooo homey and had everything we needed. We were welcomed with bagels & snacks and a “happy birthday” sign. Pool and hot tub were great. Perfect relaxing outdoor area. So peaceful. Such a lovely home! Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Julee and Ross’ lodge. The place was very clean, even the floors were spotless. It’s toddler friendly with books and games to keep them entertained. Also had a few fun visitors like chipmunks and lizards to watch out the window. Area is quiet and peaceful and a quick drive into town. Kudos to Ross for being super responsive and sending us detailed instructions. Thank you!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cozy beach home! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the peaceful, relaxing vibe that made it easy to unwind and enjoy every moment. The home itself is beautifully maintained—charming, clean, and thoughtfully decorated with a beachy, laid-back style that immediately puts you at ease. The highlight for us was definitely the hot tub on the deck, where we spent most evenings soaking and enjoying the fresh air. It was pure bliss. Inside, the space is warm and inviting, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. It felt more like a home than a rental, which made it extra special. Our host was incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to answer questions and genuinely invested in making our stay a great one. You can really tell they care about their guests and the experience they provide. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with cozy comforts and an amazing host, this place is it.

Our second stay here was Wonderful! So close to the beach and downtown Oceanside! Also, a fully stocked garage full of bikes, water toys and everything you could ever need.

This was such an ideal spot for our family trip to Carlsbad over the extended weekend. We had our baby with us and 4 adults. We utilized the parking spot. The outdoor storage was filled with all the essential beach needs. The pool was a bit cold for May, but we did see some older kids enjoying it while we were there. It was steps away from the village and the train stop which is why we picked it to head to the city to see friends via the coaster. And with the beach entrance being on Pine it was soooo easy to head to the beach and even pop back to the Airbnb for naps or the bathroom. We also utilized the private outdoor patio for dinner one night. The kitchen was fully stocked although we didn’t cook. And everything was clean. We def want to stay here again. Oh, and it would be a great spot for handicap accessibility

I cannot say enough about Leslie and Kaylie. Absolutely everything was perfect. Every I was dotted and t was crossed. Communication with them was amazing. The home was beautiful. Great stay, we had a wedding near by 7min away! We used it to get ready and sleep. The views are incredible, you could see the house from the wedding. We did have a hard time finding the place the closer we got there, due to the narrow streets and small signs. Drive slow and keep an eye out. The host did a great job responding, 10/10 would stay again.

Wonderful spot! So clean and exactly like the pictures. Jacqueline was very quick to respond and provided detailed instructions. We were able to enjoy the hot tub, and the place is within walking distance to the beach and a great breakfast spot. Great stay!!

This location is fantastic! It is a half a block from the ocean and you get ocean views from the front yard and the dining room table. The town of Carlsbad is adorable with lots of restaurants. The boardwalk above the ocean goes right to the crosswalk near the Airbnb. The place itself is clean and cute, and very retro. The beds were very comfortable. Slightly short on spices, etc. if you are going to do much cooking, bring along some things.

AMAZING WEEKEND GETAWAY! Already looking into booking another weekend ASAP. Janine was so sweet and responsive. The home was clean and comfortable. Nothing beats the rooftop deck. Great location to walk to beach, restaurants and breweries. Quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking. Thank you so much for having us! We will be booking again soon!
