If you love the tranquility of Scandinavian nature, then this location is certainly also the beautiful characteristic cottage of Simen. In this house, you can't help but feel happy. Don't forget to bring your own bedding, we had to buy it on the way. Fortunately, the dimensions of the beds are listed. Simen, thank you again for this stay.

A beautiful valuable accommodation and a friendly host.

The two of us spent a week in the cozy Ekornhytta and felt comfortable from the first moment! The house is very well equipped (also for more people), window views of the lake, fireplace and sauna provide the Norwegian feel-good atmosphere. In the area around the house there are many hiking trails, bike paths and trails with great views of Rondane and beyond. And the squirrel is not a marketing gag, it actually passed its feed station. :-) Communication with Sandra and Stine as a host is straightforward and quick!

The cabin was a convenient location to access Rondane National Park. Very quiet location with fantastic views. The cabin was rustic but very comfortable and cosy. It had everything you needed. If you don't visit during school holidays you need to shop before arriving because the only store only opens then. We appreciated the folder in the cabin, it had lots of useful information. We did several of our hikes directly from the cabin. We would highly recommend the cabin for its unique character and location.
