The house is absolutely beautiful. So many small and big details that will make you go woah! You can tell that Sabri put his heart and soul into the house. It’s like an oasis. Literally. Art work, architecture & modern appliances mixed with historic Tunisian ambiance. So so beautiful. For my kids, the pool was so fun to take a relaxing break in. And we followed it with shopping at the Souk. Breakfast was also top notch. We will be back for sure! Quite the trip from SoCal. But so worth it

A haven of peace within the medina. Sabri has succeeded in combining tradition and modernity in a guest house in the image of the Riads of Marrakech. Hospitality is waiting for you and starts with a welcome with pastries and lemonades. Everything is homemade by Sonia, the head chef. Breakfast is hearty. I recommend you book a dinner with her. Incredible to be able to rest in peace and relax in the pool 2 steps from the heart of the city. The staff is really attentive. Thank you Hajer, Sonia, Sabri and the person who came to pick us up to show us the house.

Pleasant house, clean and well kept

The best Airbnb in Tunesien until now. The hotel is spacious, nicely traditionally decorated, super friendly staff and we immediately felt like at home. It has everything you need - you can enjoy sun on the terrace, order a coffee/tea or breakfast and go swimming or hiking. We enjoyed our stay and would come anytime again

We absolutely loved the unique architecture and stunning decor of this beautiful home! Every room had its own charm, making our stay feel special. The house was well-maintained, and the manager was very kind and helpful throughout our visit. Overall, a fantastic experience!

The guest house was extremely beautiful and we had a hard time leaving it to visit the city. On the second day, we even decided to change our plans and stay for dinner. The dishes prepared by the team were delicious and very fresh (fish and seafood purchased the same day at the market). The team was very welcoming, very attentive and made sure we always felt at home. Breakfast was delicious and the terrace was excellent. We were able to enjoy a beautiful sunrise from the rooftop. We had a hammam and a massage, both of which were unique experiences that we were delighted to enjoy. Overall, it's a must-see place and a stay not to be missed!

Thanks to Skander for answering all our questions, in advance, by reassuring us about the organization of our week. Don't forget all the staff who were very attentive and always there to help. And above all, Skander's parents, especially the dad, Mr Hechmi Megdiche, who was worried every day, at breakfast, to find out if everything was okay and if we needed nothing. We started our day with a royal breakfast, where there were a variety of things on offer. We will be sure to talk about it around us because the DONIA is a nice little gem where life is good, where it feels like home, and close to the train station which allows us to easily go to Tunis. This was the most perfect place, everything was done right!! The staff was lovely, delicious breakfasts on the roof, great hammam and massage Abri organized at the dar and we also had a lovely dinner there.... it was so peaceful, just what we were looking for! We also found a lot of abandoned beaches and ruins to explore!! if we could live there, we would!!!! thanks all for a perfect stay!!!
