Such a beautiful & peaceful property. Looks just like the photos. Very clean & comfortable. We came from San Antonio, TX to spend time with family in the local area and it was just a perfect get-away from the hustle & bustle of city life where we live. No traffic or congested roadways, no construction, etc. The river is great, the property grounds are great and the kids really enjoyed the zipline in the yard. Elizabeth was very proactive with her communication and instructions for check-in & check-out and just a very good host. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were all super comfy. I mean, I don't have any complaints at all. We will absolutely be back the next time we come visit our family up this way. I highly recommend this property you won't be disappointed. Life just slows down a bit out here on this property and it was exactly what we hoped it would be.

We needed a place that could accommodate 9 people which this did nicely. For the larger adults who stayed in the loft, the beds could have been a bit bigger. Probably the beds were more suitable for regular adults or children. Dina may want to consider futons in the loft which could act as day couches and larger beds for sleeping. The deck and the outdoor fireplace were a bonus for morning coffee and evening conversations. The spring green on a sunlit morning was magical. The kitchen was well appointed as were the bathrooms. with 9 people the 3 bathrooms were very appreciated. A great value in a picturesque setting with county parks and a historic landmark nearby.

Beautiful place, I was unaware of the distance from downtown Chicago but it was still very nice.

Linnea’s place was adorable and she’s obviously put a lot of effort into making it feel like home. It was walking distance to an amazing cafe, shopping, and tourist destinations. There is a park on one side and a post office across the street so the area is very quiet. It was perfect for our trip.
