This is the location where the movie "Father of the Galactic Railroad" was filmed and released in May 2023.Mankatsu Shoten also appears in that movie.The scene of the used bookstore of "Gisho Hiroshi-san" was taken at this inn. You can get to the Iwamura Castle site on foot or by car.Come and see what battles you've had here. There are not a lot of tourists like other tourist destinations, so you can have the city life to yourself.Iwamura fans will continue to come. After 4 pm, you'll be surprised by the eerie silence.Walking down the main street at night, you'll see a row of paper lanterns that look like paper lanterns, and it's very magical. On the "summer solstice" day, the sunset falls straight ahead of the street and you can see the very beautiful scenery.(Depending on the weather, about 1 week, around 6:30 pm, around mid-June of each year) We also operate retro kimono rentals and dressing in this building.If you would like to wear a kimono, please make a reservation.Guests staying with us will have a discounted price. It is the perfect location for any vacation, whether you want to relax, stroll around the neighborhood on foot, or drive a car and have a little more adventure. There are many walking courses where you can enjoy the scenery of Nagano's nature, such as the mountain road leading to Togakushi Shrine, which has a history of history, wetlands, and the Alps View Course, so you can stroll around easily. It is a 10-minute walk to the Daisa Hossho Pond, where you can enjoy forest adventures for children and adults and take a walk along the lake. Water activities at Lake Nojiri and city sightseeing such as Zenkoji Temple are also within 20 minutes by car. All ski resorts in the Hokushin Gokaku (Togakushi, Kurohime, Myoko, Madarao) in northern Nagano can be accessed within 30 minutes. Enjoy the birdsong, the sound of the leaves of the trees, and the peaceful time created by the seasonal forests while looking up at the starry sky at night.

After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example. Surrounded by nature, you can relax and enjoy an extraordinary time. < Winter season November-March > The outdoor bath is closed during the winter months.
