This is the location where the movie "Father of the Galactic Railroad" was filmed and released in May 2023.Mankatsu Shoten also appears in that movie.The scene of the used bookstore of "Gisho Hiroshi-san" was taken at this inn. You can get to the Iwamura Castle site on foot or by car.Come and see what battles you've had here. There are not a lot of tourists like other tourist destinations, so you can have the city life to yourself.Iwamura fans will continue to come. After 4 pm, you'll be surprised by the eerie silence.Walking down the main street at night, you'll see a row of paper lanterns that look like paper lanterns, and it's very magical. On the "summer solstice" day, the sunset falls straight ahead of the street and you can see the very beautiful scenery.(Depending on the weather, about 1 week, around 6:30 pm, around mid-June of each year) We also operate retro kimono rentals and dressing in this building.If you would like to wear a kimono, please make a reservation.Guests staying with us will have a discounted price. After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example.
