Dongchonjae is located in Seochon Village, close to Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace in the heart of Seoul. Dongchonjae, built about 100 years ago, is a traditional hanok that has been officially certified by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Tourism Organization. Dongchonjae has been operating since October 2020, when a retired couple opened their home to guests. Dongchonjae is located on a 380.17 m² plot of land. It consists of one building, and the space is divided into the main building (Anche/Main) House), Sarangchae/Detached House, and Annex. Guests have exclusive use of the Main House and the Annex. The host is in a separate building. You will be staying in a detached house, and we will personally assist you with necessary services such as providing breakfast. We hope you can comfortably experience the tranquil beauty and subtle atmosphere of a traditional hanok at Dongchonjae. It is a 100-year-old hanok guest house designated as a tourist convenience facility in Seoul, and has been in business for four generations. The host couple lives nearby, completely separated from the space used by guests, and provides breakfast. It is a quiet and cozy resting place, each room has a bathroom, a cafe-style veranda, a 10-minute walk from Hyehwa Station, and a parking space for 2 cars. It is 20 minutes away by public transportation, including Dongdaemun, Namdaemun, Gwangjang Market, Myeongdong Shopping, Changgyeonggung Palace, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insa-dong, Blue House, and Namsan Tour.

We have spacious Garden with lovely pine trees and seasonal flowers. You can feel healing and relax with our lovely calm garden. We have also small farm growing ingredient fruits. you can pick & enjoy eating for breakfast in summer season. You can take a walk along the riverside path near our house and enjoy water skiing and paragliding. Public transportation is also available. It's a 10 - minute walk from Asin Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. Pick-up from Asin Station is also available.
