Los Cimarrones es el lugar perfecto para tomar un descanso de la velocidad de la vida. El lugar es hermoso y la naturaleza extraordinariamente hermosa. Lo aconsejo a todos.

An in prompt to last minute booking that exceeded expectations. Only there for a quick stay over, but was just everything that we needed at the time. Simple, open, natural and very comfortable. The peacefulness of the sounds were nothing short of perfect. And the villa gave you the most appropriate platform to take it all in. Thank you Claudio! I hope to have any excuse to visit again! Un lugar precioso apra apsar tranquilo, recomendaria llevar comida y bebida ya que el lugar esta equipado y es muy precioso como para salir tiene la vibra de comida casera, pero tambien el anfitrion da recomendaciones de restaurantes

Nos pegaron una Salvada. Muy amables, hasta nos fueron a buscar despues de que nos perdimos.

It’s a very nice place

Eine Erfahrung in den Bergen von Costa Rica. Das am höchsten gelegene Dorf in Costa Rica ist nur ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Das Grundstück liegt zwischen 3 Nationalparks. Um zur Unterkunft zu gelangen hat uns Julian herzlich empfangen und zu dem Haus gebracht. Die Aussicht in Schlaf und Wohnzimmer ist unbezahlbar und sucht definitiv seinesgleichen!! Uns hat es extrem gut gefallen. Kann ich jedem, der eine Unterkunft in dieser Höhenlage sucht sehr empfehlen!

This place is fantastic. Big and spacious. Peaceful and quiet. We had hoped for lots of birds and more wildlife, but that was practically nonexistent. The place is fairly close to Santa Maria, which offers everything you would need for supplies and some great restaurants. If you are a larger group, this is the perfect place. Especially if you have kids. The soccer field was awesome. We would stay here again, and Gustavo and his group of helpers were very responsive and on top of everything! Thanks for helping make our stay wonderful.

Nuestra estadía en la cabaña fue simplemente espectacular. Todo superó nuestras expectativas: la limpieza, los detalles, la comodidad… no tenemos absolutamente nada negativo que decir. La cabaña y toda la propiedad son hermosas, se respira tranquilidad y se nota el cuidado en cada rincón. Nos sentimos como en casa desde el primer momento. Sin duda, un lugar al que quisiéramos volver.

Juan Carlos es un excelente anfitrión. Contesta rápido, es muy amable y educado. La cabaña está en un lugar silencioso, ideal para dormir bien, lo cual necesitaba porque viajaba para subir el Chirripó. Las camas cómodas y la vista impresionante.

Es un lugar magico, para desconectar del mundo, para respirar paz. La atención fue excelente, esperamos volver muy pronto.

El lugar es realmente un sueño hecho realidad. Si yo pudiera construirme algo igual, sin duda lo haría. La cabaña (por no decirle casa) es muy acogedora, con una destribución de espacio muy bien penasda y espléndida decoración minimalista (me encantó el Buda y la Ganesha). Un lujo total el balconcito con dos mecedoras, amanecer y tomar café de la zona de los Santos disfrutando de las montañas, el frio matutino y con pajaritos a menos de 10 metros de distancia, siceramente no tiene precio. Volveré si Dios me presta vida.

Sumamente satisfecho con el lugar. Excelentes espacios, muy acogedor, tranquilo. Ideal para una escapada tranquila en pareja. Los anfitriones estuvieron pendientes siempre. Los espacios muy bien diseñados.

Absolutely Perfect – A True Jungle Oasis This place was everything I needed and more. Nestled in the heart of the jungle, it was the perfect retreat to rest, reset, and reconnect with nature. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed—like I was part of the family. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, and their warmth and hospitality made this stay unforgettable. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle, surrounded by lush greenery, was pure magic. The space itself was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. I left feeling recharged and incredibly grateful for the experience. I will absolutely be back—and I can’t recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a true escape into nature with the warmth of home.

Un lugar para relajarse, bella vista y atardecer. La cabañita es igualita a las fotos. Mucho que hacer en Copey: tour de vino, de café, una rica experiencia gastronómica en Al mercat y un rico café Araminta

Bosque Tapanti fue una experiencia única para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi esposa. Estar aislados del ruido y prisas de la ciudad durante unos días era realmente lo que buscamos y lo encontramos acá. Las vistas y alrededores dejan sin aliento y con ganas de quedarse mucho más. La casa como tal es cómoda, perfecta para una pareja y con todo lo que necesitamos. También aprovechamos para conocer Tapanti y conocer sus senderos, la naturaleza del área es impresionante. La hospitalidad de Ignacio fue excelente al igual que la comunicación, no tuvimos ub solo problema, todo salió a la perfección. Un lugar increíble, tiene de todo, hasta una gatita muy cariñosa y la anfitriona demasiado amable.

Perfect central location big hill to get to it though, the cooking pans could do with being replaced as they were abit scratched and old, could do with more plates and knives also, was a very good host and helped out a lot when bbq ran out of gas it was replaced within an hour, not sure if its mentioned but the pool is shared I originally thought it wasn’t, other then that it was perfect and very safe with gates to get in and out

Seidy and her husband are incredible hosts. The house is better in real life than pictures on Air B&B can reveal! Highly recommend this spot. Our family felt right at home & wished we could have stayed longer. Very private and quiet. Active working farm. Again...Seidy is so kind. She met us at the door when we checked in, had fresh eggs, apples, tea and avocados waiting in the kitchen. She even offered to make us breakfast in the morning, which was beautiful and delicious! The house is incredibly clean. Do not look further for another house in Dota/ Copey. Reserve with Seidy... excellent all-around!! (:
