Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The Neckertal is a romantic, dreamy valley with many hiking and biking opportunities and is located between the two tourist destinations Appenzellerland and Toggenburg.

This newly renovated holiday apartment is located in the peaceful, idyllic foothills of the Alps at 1000 m above sea level. On our active farm with dairy cows, you can experience real farm life up close – from watching milking to daily farm work. A highlight are our young animals, including alpacas, calves and piglets, as well as pigs, bees, chickens, cats and our very child-friendly dog. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space with a living area of around 125 m² surrounded by nature. Your exclusive getaway with 360-degree views of Säntis/Lake Constance and yet so close to attractions such as St.Gallen/Appenzell. This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

Beautiful 2-room apartment with spacious seating

This apartment was renovated in summer 2019. It is a cozy apartment for 2 - 4 people. It is well connected to public transportation. In just 13 minutes, you can take the PostBus to the nearest ski resort. Beautiful hikes can be made from the front door. Starting from a booking of one night, you will receive the Toggenburger guest card with which you can benefit from many discounts. You can travel for free in Obertoggenburg by public transport.

Experience and inhabit paradise

Charming pavilion with double bed (box spring bed) and bathroom. To heat the cottage, light the heating fireplace. Cozy warmth is guaranteed! In summer, there is also a dormitory available in the barn, for example for families. A kitchen is available about 20 meters from the cottage. On request, we can provide breakfast for an extra charge of CHF 13 per person, which must be paid in advance, as we have unfortunately had bad experiences.
