Holiday rentals with breakfast in Negros

The property has a peaceful charm with a relaxing atmosphere, a private pool, karaoke, and beautiful surroundings—ideal if you’re looking to completely unplug and stay put. However, our experience was mixed due to several factors that future guests should be aware of. The biggest challenge was the location. The house is remote and not listed in the city’s tourism directory, making it hard for local transport providers to locate. Accessibility is heavily impacted by the tides—depending on the time of day, getting in and out requires a flat boat (at an extra fee), which felt like a charge that should have been included in the price. While island hopping was available, it came at an additional cost, and leaving the property for any activities required extra planning and expense. If you’re not planning to explore and are content staying at the property, this might not be an issue—but it’s something to keep in mind.

Our stay at Emma & James’ “Unk’s House” in Bohol was absolutely amazing! This 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom home was perfect for our family of 12. It’s a hidden gem—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Even with a large group, we never felt crowded. The location is ideal—peaceful and private, yet close to the beach and shops. Emma & James were incredibly helpful, assisting with anything we needed and offering great local tips. The staff was courteous and accommodating, even helping our family cook a few dinners. Breakfasts were delicious and a wonderful start to our days. The entire experience felt like a dream getaway. We truly felt at home and so well taken care of. We’re already planning our return to this little slice of paradise. Highly recommend Unk’s House for families or groups looking for a relaxing, unforgettable stay in Bohol!

Roberto was fantastic—allowing us an early check-in made a huge difference for our large group with staggered flight times. It gave us a chance to settle in comfortably and even host a mini conference on the second floor. The amenities were on point too; everything worked perfectly from the water supply to the bidets. Plus, having Yuki around—a friendly and helpful pup—was a delightful bonus. The staff went the extra mile by assisting with meal orders and setting up plates and utensils. Highly recommend this stay!

We knew very quickly upon arrival we would want to book a another month, which we did. The place is clean and safe. Priorities for us. The best part though is the on-site staff who really care for the space and for us. We felt at home right away. If something needs tending to they respond immediately and kindly. I work remotely and I've been able to keep things rolling despite being half way around the world from my office. Highly highly recommend staying here if you want a safe, clean and friendly experience.

You can expect a very peaceful and tranquil environment, that is both safe and secure. Not somewhere I would stay long term unless you just want a pool holiday, in which case you will love it. The pool is fabulous and clean. Thers lotsof shops nearby , but nowhere decent to eat apart from street BBQ or bars for that matter. But the restaurant food is excellent and reasonable prices. I used it as a go-between beach venues, closer to the airport, and for that it is perfect. If I had one criticism, it would be that they do not accept cards cash only.

The place is awesome and the host is nice. I just would like to make some suggestion for updating some information on your listing like having corkage for bringing drinks but everything was so great staying on this place. Looking forward to stay again here. Thank you!

This place is scenic, great view of the beach and the island across. The house is super clean with four bedrooms - each with own t/b. Clean sheets and towels are provided. Even the kitchen is fully equipped. The House of Nature is indeed a wonderful place to stay. For me, this place is a SUPERHOST. To Ms Emie, daghang salamat Ma’am.. I had a fantastic stay at Che’s place! The room was exactly as described in the listing—beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. It had a cozy and stylish atmosphere, making it feel like a home away from home. The privacy was a huge plus, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay without any disturbances. The host was also very responsive and accommodating. If you’re looking for a place that matches the photos and offers a quiet retreat, I highly recommend staying here!

Ms Lilibeth and her staff have been amazing. Very responsive, warm and helpful. The place is as described and expected -- convenient, comfortable and has everything we needed for the short stay. Guillia is very accommodating and helpful. She easily responds to our queries and provides recommendations in the area. The unit is also very clean and cozy. In addition, the guards and front desk are friendly.

Brenda und Monet sind ein unglaublich zuvorkommendes und herzliches Ehepaar. Sie hat sich schon vor der Ankunft um alles für mich gekümmert und Veranlasst, dass ich sicher ankomme und alle meine Aktivitäten erleben konnte. Es gab sogar ein leckeres traditionelles Mittagessen von Ihr. Vor dem Haus, 5 Meter entfernt ist ein kleiner Strandabschnitt. Monet, Ihr Mann ist früher viel fischen gegangen und hat einige Geschichten zu erzählen. Würde jederzeit wieder dorthin. Hoffentlich ergibt sich das!! Die Unterkunft ist natürlich auch super gewesen. Fällt aber trotz ihrer super Lage und gemütlich hinter die tolle Gegenwart von den tollen Gastgebern. ❤️ Vielen Dank für alles!! 🙏

Staying at Anj's place at Balai Lawaan was such a respite for the soul. It's easily accessible via Grab or taxi-- a little further away from the city center, but worth the extra few minutes of travel. We slept so soundly each night, it was actually hard to wake up! Slow mornings with a hearty balanced breakfast on the garden terrace, basking in the morning sun, and the having coffee while taking in the calming sound of wind chimes in the garden-- such a slice of paradise. Anj was an amazing host and her staff was truly very warm. Looking forward to our next stay at Balai Lawaan-- the reviews were right, it's truly a home away from home.

lovely place, only a few rooms so it felt very quiet and peaceful. a short tuktuk into town costing just 15 pesos each. had a few language barrier issues with reception which was unusual on my travels to the Philippines but manageable. lovely resident dog called RJ, melted our hearts :) thank you so much

This is my second time to stay at Richie Joy's place and like before, it's the best! Second to None!! I felt at home and was very comfortable! The room was clean and tidy, the hot shower was refreshing, and the air conditioning unit was perfect! My beddings and towels were replaced regularly or as needed with no questions asked! The front desk staff's were very attentive and always asking if I needed their assistance. They were always willing and able to assist in any way they can. If and when I get hungry, and ordered my meal from a set menu, my hot meal is prepared in 30 minutes! I highly recommend Philippa's B&B Pension House hosted by Richie Joy!! As far as I am concerned, Richie Joy is the best AirBnB Host ever!! "I'll be back"! Vincent~~~

Mein zwar kurzer aber wirklich toller Aufenthalt bei Cherry hat mir sehr gut gefallen! Das Zimmer ist super grosszügig und das Bad sauber und schön. Cherry war unglaublich lieb und hat mich wunderbar umsorgt. :) Ich habe mich als alleinreisende Frau wirklich sehr wohl und wilkommen gefühlt und es war für mich der perfekte Abschluss meiner Reise. Für längere Aufenthalte würde ich eine Rollermiete empfehlen. Ich hoffe ich kann eines Tages wieder kommen! ^^

The view is pristine… like floating in clouds. Ding is super kind and helpful. Simple but superb cooking. Outdoor shower felt like Bali. Recommend anytime!!!

Wonderful host! I have stayed with them twice now and their service is top notch. Working AC and Wi-Fi, a fully usable kitchen, heated showers, and a delightful breakfast. The staff is very friendly and communicated well. I would highly recommend staying here.
