Characteristic is the ‘smûke’ scenery with thousands of miles of elzensingels, dykswâlen (wood ramparts) and hundreds of pingos and pools. The area has unique flora and fauna. The biodiversity here is great. A short distance from Groningen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum and the Ydillian Wadden Islands. The surroundings are very suitable for hiking, biking, canoe.

In our lodging 't Veldkuikentje, you can optimally enjoy your stay in the countryside between Apeldoorn and Teuge. 't Veldkuikentje offers space for 1-6 people as a B&B/Vacation house. In addition, the space is also used as a meeting room for up to 12 people. Deep forests, the river landscape, historic estates and castles invite you to make beautiful walking and cycling tours. In 2018, the mountain bike route of Amerongen was proclaimed the most beautiful in the Netherlands. We warmly welcome you for a wonderful stay.

Our cozy, characteristic back house with an area of no less than 120m2 is part of a thatched farmhouse from 1862. It has a private entrance and plenty of privacy. There is a beautiful large living room with oak beams and loft. From here you have a magnificent wide view over the meadows behind.

'Adults only' stay in horse stable with skyview

Stay on a farm with cows, horses, sheep, chickens and dogs. The B&B is unique, come and enjoy the National Park, beach, sea and the city of Haarlem a stone's throw away. A fantastic place to relax and enjoy the sky view from the bed in any weather. Rural and yet also close to the village.
