Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in New Bern

We had a wonderful time at the railroad cottage. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable and in a great location. The host provided recommendations that were very helpful. If you are visiting New Bern, stay here!

Fantastic place, really feels like a home and not a generic rental place. The kitchen is stocked with every appliance you could ever think of. The train running out front is great for kids (runs daytime on weekdays only). Beds are massive and comfortable, the house is well insulated and fairly soundproofed, and the side porch is great for coffee and people watching. Location is great, right on the edge of all the restaurants and bars with an open grassy area on one side and quiet neighbor on the other. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here. We all felt right at home. The location can't be beat - only 5 minutes by car to downtown New Bern and all of the sights. This is a nice historic neighborhood and we enjoyed time on the big front porch and the back porch. I really appreciated that there were LOTS of Keurig pods, including decaf! No need to buy coffee although there was also a standard coffee pot in the cabinet if you have a different preference. There was one comment in our group that the downstairs bed was too soft for her preference but that everything else was perfect. The upstairs bed was perfect for us. The little nook in the front of the upstairs hallway was a great place for a book and morning coffee while everyone else was still sleeping. This home has a great combination of spaces for time together and apart. Kitchen had everything we needed. And we appreciated having access to local channels to watch the NCAA championship. You really can't go wrong with this beautiful home!

Jeff was very responsive to our last minute vacation. Very helpful in navigating our fishing needs. The location was perfect on the water to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The house is spacious with all we needed and offered a carport for our boat. Thanks for a restful time at Grey Goose!

The property was amazing, a very quiet area to enjoy some peace. I went for the weekend with my family and the pups, they loved the backyard and the kids enjoyed the jacuzzi and running around. Michael was amazing host, super responsive on every need!

My stay was very comfy and cozy just like the ad stated. A peaceful neighborhood and home was clean and tidy just the way it should be! I loved having 2 1/2 bathrooms for additional guests to use! it was a very easy check in and no problems or issues! I will definitely choose to stay here again!

The cottage was comfy, cozy. The porch is screened in and my favorite part was sipping coffee early in the morning listening to the birds and the surf. It was very clean and well appointed. If you want to cook, plan to stop at a grocery store on your way for provisions. There’s a small convenience/grocery store on the island with limited options. Didn’t bother us, just have to plan for it. Blue Ocean Market in Morehead City had great fresh fish options, fresh wahoo was delish!

We are very familiar with the area and was thrilled with finding this place for our stay. It was the perfect location, easily walkable to bars, restaurants, shopping, and attractions. The home was exactly as described, neat, clean, and well-furnished. New Bern is an historic town filled with older homes; it’s an older home but nicely updated. It worked perfectly for us and the owner’s commutation was top-notch. We will look to rent again in the future.

This apartment was perfect for our weekend trip to New Bern. Could not really ask or suggest anything more. We loved the walkable distance to downtown. We look forward to staying again. Thank you Christie!

Quiet, clean stay. Host was very easy to communicate with. Close to everything

Comfortable 2nd floor apartment in a quite neighborhood. Ample parking. Has 3 beds: queen and single in the bedroom and queen-size sofa bed (pretty comfortable) in the main room. Full kitchen with all the necessities, bathroom with shower. Nice open deck - was great to dry out diving equipment. Everything was clean, in good shape and matched the descriptions / photos. A few restaurants within 5 min drive; we found a couple within walking distance. Overall, a nice and clean apartment and a good value.

Cute little place. My husband was there for work so did not get to enjoy the beach side much but very comfortable and isn’t to far from restaurants or other things to do. Would stay there again. And the host so sweet and fast at responding.

We loved this place. It was clean, comfortable, it had everything that we needed, it’s walking distance to nice places to eat and drink, that are right on the water and it has a pool!!!

Perfect stay for a couples get away. Within walking distance from the waterfront and lots of restaurants. Quaint but beautiful!

Fantastic stay! Fantastic, relaxing setting.... we loved the view of the water. There were some cute Easter decorations inside. The two dogs that live there are amazing! We missed our dogs so much and loved that theirs came to visit! Perfect stay for our family!

We had an amazing stay here! The home is beautiful and everything is pretty much provided for you if you didn't bring it with you already. Annmarie was very warm and welcoming she introduced herself and welcomed us shortly after arriving. Its a good area, short walk to the beach and lots of restraunts and shops right down the road. I'd definitely come back again!

We had the most incredible stay at this stunning beachfront Airbnb in North Topsail Beach! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views of the ocean. Waking up to the sound of waves and sipping coffee on the private deck as the sun rose over the water felt like a dream. The apartment itself is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully decorated, with a cozy coastal vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the living space was ideal for relaxing after a day in the sun.

Great place to stay. Very relaxing. High tide is right up to the sandbags so you can access the beach until later in the morning which was fine for us. After that the beach is open all day. Highly recommend this place. We will be back.

My family and I absolutely loveddd our stay here. Great space for a family of 3 or 4. Very clean and put together. I will most definitely be booking again!

It was a really nice place honestly it looked better in person than it did in the photos. The whole place was very clean you can tell their cleaning service is very thorough. They had everything you need down to detergent to wash clothes. Which came in handy when washing our clothes from the beach. Only thing missing was propane in the grill and with how helpful they were I’m sure they would have filled if we had reached out. I definitely feel it was worth the price and will book them again for any future stays in the area.

Beautiful apartment very well decorated with European style and incredible views which allows you (from two different balconies) to watch wildlife( dolphins/ wild horses and many different species of birds) but also all the boating activities with sailboats/catamarans/motor yacht etc. Bring your binoculars! It will be difficult to find better in Beaufort because no matter the weather conditions you will love this place and still enjoy the beauty of Beaufort. This place is a gem from January 1st to December 31st! You will enjoy your stay from the moment you open your eyes in the morning , the beds are excellent for your back ( I am a chiropractor!) and your car will rest because you can do everything on foot!

Karen’s condo was amazing. It was clean and looked just like the photos. Had tons of amenities as well as an easy 3 minute walk to the beach. Karen was also an amazing host responding to any questions I had within minutes. I recommend this cozy spot to any couples or singles looking to visit Atlantic beach.

Unit really is right on the beach. The ocean is literally right at the back deck. There are massive sandbags to help with the beach erosion, yet the views were great and the sound of the ocean right off the balcony was amazing. I would return.
