Hemma Grove - A Songbird haven

GrainneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What an amazing place to stay and relax. Dee & Billy gave us a warm welcome as well as Graham & Ted (the family dogs). Everything was exceptional, a beautifully restored cottage and clearly a labour of love, the attention to detail and the decor was fabulous. Only a 15 min drive into Kilkenny town centre this place has it all, so quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend and will definitely be back at some stage. Best wishes Dee & Billy and thank you for everything.

Shaunna was super communicative and made sure I was set to go for my stay. Her home was very unique and inspired, making me feel at home as soon as I stepped foot in the door.

Cottage Roses (Rose Cottage )

Such a cute, cozy cottage. Lots of space and very comfortable! We loved sitting in the garden, sipping lattes, and snuggling all together on the sofa watching Eurovision at night.

Killahara Castle - history, mystery agus welcomes

DionRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wow. The most unique place we’ve ever stayed in. Definitely the highlight of our trip. The place itself: dusty, dank, spidery, tricky stairs, odd layout, weird headroom. In other words, a perfect “castle” experience. The history of the property is evident and fascinating. The owners have done a thoughtful “conservation” of the original 15th century structure. And it was great to be away from the touristy places, in rural Ireland, with mostly locals, small towns and villages, and gorgeous rolling countryside. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authenticity.

Old House

NoirinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We (two families with small children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in A Sean Teach, which tranquil and beautifully- presented house, completely off road and within easy reach of the village of Drangan. We visited the Rock of Cashel, saw a hurling match in Semple Stadium, playground in Drangan and played in the lovely landscaped garden. A special thanks for the brown bread, farm eggs and ingredients for a fry! Thank you Mary and family for a lovely, relaxing weekend.

The Lodge - Rural Tipperary bordering Kilkenny

Richard Whitney Rating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Michael and Avril are wonderful people. Genuine , caring, hard working people. They were fresh baked muffins upon our arrival. The second day, Michael brought over some delicious desserts prepared by his sons. To wake up to the sound of the bleating of lambs and sheep, the lowing (moo) of the cows and the occasional rooster awakening the world is so refreshing. A great place to call home as you travel to the surrounding towns and villages to experience the taste of Ireland. The hosts are just beautiful people. Richard and Linda
