An absolutely dreamy escape for two! complete with scenic views, and enough special touches to feel at home. Fiona made everything so comfortable and we look forward to coming back!

Lovely hut inside and out, set within lovely gardens. Plenty of places to relax outside, especially the hot tub. We drove to the Bell at Broadway, lovely pub for food with plenty of options and majority can be gf too, including the home made pizza with a large selection of toppings.

An absolutely gorgeous place to stay. The location was wonderful, you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, despite there being a pub next door! Lots of walks or cycles from the door, yet 2 minutes from a main road. The house was beautifully decorated and great bedrooms, lovely linen and comfy beds, with fantastic bathrooms. Everything you needed to cook for yourself and great recommendations of things to do and places to go. We had ponies outside our garden! Paul was a great host, responsive and helpful, really welcoming and very kind regarding checking in and out. We were there to celebrate a few things and felt it was absolutely the place for that. The pub next door under new owners was very friendly but did not disturb us at all. Thank you Paul, we had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

Thank you so much for hosting us Tracy. The hut was perfect, beautifully furnished with lots of thoughtful touches. The best bit was the location, private and secluded. The view from hut was just of rolling hills - no buildings or even roads in sight! A place to unwind and de-stress.

Fabulous host, gave us the most wonderful recommendations. Helped with ferry tickets and buses to arrive. Beautiful location, so peaceful and calm and relaxing waking up to the sound of nature. Will definitely be visiting again!

What a beautiful cabin/shepherds hut and location. I booked a solo weekend getaway and travelled by train from London, getting a taxi from Woking. All easy. Hosts came to say hello and were super friendly and welcoming. I went on a couple of nice walks but could have easily hung around the cabin all weekend. Perfect for solo getaway or as a couple. This is our second trip here and it certainly wont be the last! We had the most amazing stay. The setting is perfect, the accommodation is perfect and the hosts are perfect! We even had 2 little dog friend's throughout our stay. Thank you so much and see you next time!

A delightful and charming place to stop and relax. Everything was superb - the hut, its private garden, the thoughtful book selection, the bed linen which smelt of fresh air, the warm croissants and home made jams. Daisy the retriever, was the icing on the cake. Sarah and Frank are warm, available as needed but respectful of privacy.

We loved our stay with Tracy. The shepherd‘s hut was cozy, homely and clean, and we were so grateful for the friendly welcome we received. Our son loved feeding the goats with the food provided, and having fire wood and marshmallows for toasting ready waiting was wonderful and super kind! The jacuzzi / hot tub was clean and ready to hop into - wonderful! Having the cute ducks nearby and cows on a neighbouring farm made it feel like a proper farm getaway. It was nice to be out of the way of busy touristy hotspots but it was very easy to get to beautiful locations nearby. We spotted some lovely country pubs nearby too. We can only recommend Tracy‘s place - 5 *s!

Had a beautiful time at The Great Escape! Such a peaceful place with lush surroundings. The hot tub was such a treat and the hut was very clean with all the amenities you could need. Would absolutely come back!

Had a lovely three night stay in Acorn hut. Spacious and very private outdoor space with a hot tub for relaxing. Bathroom facilities were clean and shower was great. The hut itself was cosy with everything you need for a few nights away. Big enough for my partner and I as well as our large greyhound. The host was lovely and helpful with advice about places to go and the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a peaceful spot.

The most wonderful stay in the most beautiful little hut. From the moment I arrived I felt instantly relaxed. Emily has created the most perfectly peaceful space, inside and out. She is also a wonderful host & was able to help me with my forgotten item. Waking up to the sound of the birds, with the greenery outside the window was my favourite part. Emily’s hut is a delightfully comfortable space and the log burner keeps you very cosy in the evening. The village itself is also delightful to walk around, there is plenty to explore in the area and a great pub on the doorstep. The only downside was checking out.

Lovely shepherds hut in a very secluded and peaceful location. Clean and very cosy. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and using the hot tub watching the swallows dart around. If you want to recharge your batteries this is perfect. Close to Bridport and Lyme Regis.

The shepherd’s hut is very comfortable and beautifully appointed; obviously a lot of thought has been put into arranging every detail of the interior, and the location is idyllic. The hosts live just down the track should you have any questions. Wonderful views with perfect peace and quiet; the only sound was birdsong. I loved it.

We just enjoyed a lovely weekend stay in this gorgeous tranquil Shepherd's Hut in Dorset. The location was so private and quiet. Perfect opportunity for a digital detox! So easy to get around the local area to nearby Swanage & Corfe Castle. Beautifully designed and equipped for everything you could possibly need. Wonderful stay in a beautiful part of the world. Definitely pay for the hot tub, amazing to be outside looking at the stars at night.

The perfect little retreat to get away from busy life. A beautiful little hut inside and out. BBQ and fire pit, comfy single beds. Lovely views and great for dogs. Megan was attentive and responsive. Had a relaxing and peaceful time, thank you. Will be back again soon x

The setting was absolutely beautiful and the hut was very well presented! Great suggestions for places to eat from Danette and the views and sounds from the hut of the countryside are unbeatable! We watched a barn owl from the hut on both nights we stayed!

We had the most wonderful time at Tinky Winky’s, celebrating a significant birthday and anniversary. It was our first time in a shepherd’s hut and everything you could possibly need is on hand for a chilled, relaxing time. How nice to start the day sitting on the veranda enjoying breakfast before exploring the area, then returning for a late night drink in front of the fire pit watching the sunset, or in the hot tub. Mo and Ann are so helpful, which made our stay great.

Fabulous hospitality and a beautiful setting! The views are stunning and the location is perfect for hopping in the car to enjoy local beaches and towns. Rosa and Mark were extremely welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Our sausage dog also loved it here so we will definitely be back!

Really nice private location which was still very close by lovely walk routes and country pubs. Ed was really helpful with local recommendations. The enclosed garden was very secure and great for our small dog too. Perfect place for a peaceful getaway.

Lovely place for a relaxing stay. If you’re coming with a dog, the garden is perfectly enclosed for them to roam freely :)
