Being pet friendly and having a large fenced in area for them to run around in was very nice.

What a wonderful place to relax! Everything was perfect, from the fully stocked kitchen to the comfy patio lounge chairs & bed, the fire pit with lots of wood all chopped & ready to go and best of all the hot tub! Bonus was the visiting deer which were fun to feed using the supplied apples! Highly recommend this secluded cottage on the river if you’re looking for a quiet getaway! The cottage was exactly as described in the listing! We booked this cottage because it was so close to our daughter’s wedding but it ended up being a mini vacation as well! Thank you!

After a bad experience at a different rental Friday night, we were left scrambling Saturday to find somewhere else — this cabin completely saved our weekend! Last-minute booking was smooth, check-in was easy, the place was spotless, fully stocked, with firewood ready. The view is spectacular, the privacy is unmatched, and the hot tub was such an enjoyable feature. The hosts were wonderful with fast, helpful communication. And it’s only about 15 minutes from downtown Truro! Exceeded all expectations — we’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! Patrick and Sarah provided clear and detailed instructions for our arrival. The cottage exceeded our expectations and was even bigger and brighter than pictured. We were a large group of two families (all adults) and everyone had plenty of room for sleeping and belongings. We followed the provided directions and walked to some lovely hiking trails close by. The cottage has modern amenities and was well stocked with almost anything you’d need to enjoy your stay.

The sheltered hot tub is the perfect spot to unwind and recharge, and the serene riverside setting adds to the overall sense of calm. The cottage itself is charming and beautifully maintained, with a quaint character that instantly makes you feel at home. It feels wonderfully secluded, yet it's only a short drive to Pictou, making it the best of both worlds. We’ve already rebooked—we absolutely love this place! Josh and Nicole are incredible hosts, and they’ve created a little slice of heaven here.

Beautiful cabin, very clean, everything we wanted and as advertised. Relaxing in the hot tub on the deck was so amazing and we would easily book again! Lots of nearby trails to explore, very scenic area and absolutely loved it!

This place was better than advertised. It is in a great location, just across the bridge, and outside of the main touristy areas. We loved the fact that it was surrounded by trees, and the space inside did not feel cramped. In fact, we were pleasantly surprised to find that on the back half of the bathroom, there is a walk-in closet area. As a little tip for future users, this area can be used for your clothing to prevent you from having to take suitcases up the stairs. Outside space is great with a deck area at the front of the A-frame, and a nice sitting area beside a fire pit just a short distance away. The fridge and range are modern and clean. Water pressure was great in the house. One of the charms of this place is the fact that there are so many windows. If you want to sleep later, bring a mask as it is nice and bright in the morning. All-in-one washer and dryer was a nice surprise, and the level two EV charger is a great bonus. We will definitely be back!!!

Absolutely LOVED this little cottage! Fully stocked kitchen supplies, adorable decore and the best thing besides the hot tub… a record player and some records. We loved our overnight stay! Would highly recommend ! My only complaint and there is nothing to do a about it is it is close to the road. This will NOT stop me from telling people and will not stop me from booking again for my daughand her husband! 5 out of 5 stars for sure

The cabin is one of four cabins - probably very convenient if traveling with a group. It overlooks a water inlet. The cabin is well kept up but fairly basic in terms of dishes, etc. There is a beach nearby but we didn't visit it due to the mosquitos.

Beautiful spot, we enjoyed our stay. We will be back and would recommend to friends! Great location by the water and hiking trail nearby.

This little cottage is placed in the best location near Tatamagouche. The sunsets are gorgeous and the cottage has everything we needed for the weekend. We enjoyed our peaceful stay!

Nic was very welcoming and helpful. Our place was exactly how the picture represents it. We had coffee, dishsoap, towels and dishes towels and paper towels. The beds were comfortable and clean. the TV worked well as did the internet. there was beach at low tide easily accessible. All in all a wonderful experience.

Absolutely stunning views from the cabin, the cabin is very clean and has everything you will need and has alot of personal charm :) I am definitely going to come back frequently!

We loved our stay. Beautiful ocean right there. Lots of pebbled beach to walk with beautiful sunsets. Plenty of hot water, very comfy beds, and great little area to side of house for sea breeze with no bugs. Lois is so friendly and helpful. Cozy place to spend some quiet time. Or you can visit in an outdoor common area complete with barbecue & fire pit. It gets cool this time of year in the evenings but the heaters worked great and flannel sheets were so cozy! It is a bit remote so buy your food before you come.

Loved it so much, we booked another visit before the first was over!!!!! A wonderful experience at Stella Luna! The location was beautiful, peaceful and exactly as described. Spent hours on the beach and enjoyed the sunrise each morning from the second storey balcony off the main bedroom. AMAZING! Very touched by the thoughtful guest package when we arrived and the helpful info on area amenities. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This cozy cottage on the water was everything my family and I could have asked for! Tracey and Randall made vacationing EASY with having everything we could need right there. We had great communication from the start making checkin quick! This vacation rental really felt like home! Great kitchen with everything you’d need, perfect sized bathroom/laundry room, and a great deck to sit on and admire the view! We used the outdoor shower lots to help wash off after a day at the beach. We also had a fire and s’mores one night! The paddle board, canoe and kayaks were a bonus that we took advantage of and toured around on the water with my family. Nothing but positive things to say! Look forward to staying here again!

We had a lovely stay at Beachcombers - a tranquil, idyllic spot on the island. Brenda was a friendly and responsive host who made us feel right at home, including welcoming us with cookies! The cottage is thoughtfully designed, well maintained and comfortable. Great for a couple or a small family.

Andy’s cabin was spacious, clean, and private. While it was a bit of a drive from conveniences and popular attractions, the cabin was EXACTLY what we were looking for - namely a nice place for the family to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Honestly, we kept talking about finding a way to buy a place nearby. Except for the mosquitos, which literally came with the territory, this was a perfect place for the family to stay.

The cottage was lovely, cozy and quiet. It was a great place for our family to take a step back and relax. Everything we would need was provided and only 20 mins from pictou made it easy to grab the necessities(snacks)for the boys. The neighbours were all friendly. The boys really enjoyed the beach and ping pong table. My boyfriend and I were able to enjoy the beach, relax on the deck and take in the beautiful views. This place really was heaven for us this past week. Our host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at the “Sunrise Cottage”.

This is a little sanctuary with tranquil surroundings and a very lovely cottage. It’s better than the photos can capture. It felt immediately welcoming. The kitchen was perfect and the bed was gorgeous. I didn’t want to get up. The balcony is a great addition- a beautiful view.

Tammy was a wonderful host. She was very responsive and flexible. Her place is cozy and the view is peaceful and beautiful. I loved the screened in porch overlooking the bay.

204 is Centrally located to all points north and east and Woods Isand. we saw four Lighthouses and walked on paths round and about the Sand dunes. Our favourite beach was secluded Poverty Beach below Murray Harbour.
