The Little Green Guest House

We picked the perfect location for exploring New River Gorge! We actually live here and LOVE it. Over the last 2 years, we completely rebuilt this Little Guest House from the ground up while exploring and putting together the local's ultimate guidebook of the area. Our goal was to make a cozy and cute cottage to highlight why we love WV so much. Our treehouse is located in Boulder Trail, which is on over 100 acres of private land. It also includes a common area with a covered shelter, with an outdoor Fireplace that’s a short walk away. We are located 5 minutes from Summersville Lake and 15 minutes from New River Gorge National Park!

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.

Richmond’s Meadow Creek Hideaway Cabin #3

Our fun sized Cabin #3 is 120 sf, roughly the size of a standard bedroom; however it includes a bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette, loft bed area, and a futon sofa that makes a bed. We have satellite tv, wifi, ac, linens provided, kitchenware, and a large deck with a propane grill. We also have a back yard with a fire pit and wood provided. This Cabin is open seasonally April through October yearly.
