House holiday rentals in Newton Abbot

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

Clean, cozy and well equipped (kitchen, etc). Peaceful location and the extra amenities were great! (Swimming pool, etc). We would stay again.

Great communication, and a lovely place to stay for the night which exceeded our expectations.

My friends and I stayed at Louise’s place for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time. The house fit 11 adults no problem. Lovely and quiet, the pool was so much fun, and we made good use of the fire pit to have s’mores. Harry gave us a tour of the dairy farm & beehives, & let us see the calves which was lovely. Louise was a fab host, very good communicator and always at hand if needed. Great stay overall!

Great home with outstanding facilities and location. Pool is a highlight, and hot tub right next to it which is great for when the kids get chilly! Fantastic playroom for them too. Boiling water tap for grown ups teas and coffee with good indoor and outdoor seating areas. Fun for all the family!

We loved staying at the Coach house it was just as in the pictures, and clean/comfortable with many mod cons. The Cream tea provided was delicious and the milk from the Milkiosk was fun/special. Our spaniel loved the field to run round in, although he was a bit naughty on occasion straying with the excitement. The pool is heaven, especialy as it is timetabled per unit meaning we had it all to ourselves for our turns (what a great idea). Just a great location with some lovely beaches and walks along the coastline. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next year.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse and Sophia was a very kind and responsive host (eg we asked if they had a blue tooth speaker we could borrow and it was brought straight round - Thankyou!). We enjoyed the large sociable kitchen space with the comforting Aga to come home to. The garden space was very peaceful and we had great fun in the games room playing table tennis, table football and pool on our first night. We also made use of the swimming pool and playing boules in the garden. The house is large and comfortable for groups and families and has a Manor House feel to it which we loved. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay . the apartment was really lovely. The beds were very comfortable .It had amazing views of Torquay with lots to do . will definitely stay again in the future .

Siamo rimasti nel Wisteria cottage per due notti per visitare il Dartmoor Nation Park. L'alloggio è molto accogliente e lo abbiamo trovato pulito e completamente fornito di tutto ciò che serve per cucinare e viverci come se fossimo a casa nostra. Il paesino è minuscolo ma c'è un pub a due minuti a piedi in cui si può cenare. Come tutti i posti della zona le strade sono molto strette e bisogna essere preparati per arrivarci in macchina. I proprietari sono stati gentili e disponibili integrando le informazioni stradali per raggiungere la casa. Consigliato :)

The pictures don't do justice to the property. Is better than it looks. Spacious rooms, confy beds , cosy furniture, friendly host ...all reviews are spot-on . Is not possible to give more than 5 stars ✨️. There is remote controlled canopy which we used it (was warm but raining for 30 min )and enjoyed the whole afternoon without issues and I am underlining that because U can see it in the picture but there is a table with umbrella and won't pay attention to the rest(when got there found upgraded table ,bigger, square with gravity chairs) No words...we felt straight away like home. Thank you Stephen.

Luke is a fabulous host! Not only is the cottage idyllic, peaceful and charming, but Luke left us some goodies for our arrival. These included a bottle of fizz, some delicious bread and eggs from the chickens he keeps on his small holding. There was loads of good recommendations for walks and activities within the cottage and Luke trod a wonderful balance between giving us our space and being there to offer advice and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside!

I stayed here for one night with my daughter and we were over the moon on entering Tonia’s home, it was absolutely spotless with everything we needed to enjoy our mother daughter time. Would highly recommend

Amazing house with amazing view.

Thank you Megan for such a lovely time spent in your cottage. Littletouch with the congratulations card was really lovely. Beautiful, traditional yet updated cottage with plenty of walking routes, quaint little spaces to explore, enjoy and relax. Shrimp cottage was a stunning little place for me and my partner to share and enjoy our first days of married life. the area is home from home to me and a firm chosen location to spend time relaxing whilst enjoying the picturesque surroundings. Shrimp cottage was welcoming, comfortable and a beautiful little place for a quiet period away from the norm. If you're up for walking there's some great paths and routes to take but be mindful if you're not ok with the stairs, beautifully maintained but definitely some awkward stairs where traditional characters sit. Not ideal for those who can't do well with more than a stair or two but perfect for us! We will be keeping this in mind for our next adventures on this part of the coastline.

What a fantastic discovery! We had to book last minute because our original accommodation fell through on the morning of our departure. After searching on Airbnb, we found this property, and we couldn't believe our luck! The hosts were so quick to respond to our request to book and incredibly accommodating, letting us check in early at no extra cost and even offering to pick us up from the station. The house is stunning—tastefully decorated, fresh, and impeccably clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the place was spotless, and the quality of the furnishings and accessories was top-notch. We will be back, and we cannot wait! Don’t hesitate to book this place! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your lovely property !

Simon and Charlie were fantastic hosts. Very responsive and helpful. The house was exactly as described in the photos and reviews. Kitchen is fully stocked with up to date appliances and utensils. We loved the drinks fridge. The house is perfect for four adults and well behaved dogs. We shall be booking again and have already recommended to our family and friends. Thank you.

This was our second time staying so felt home from home. Beautiful, clean and peaceful cottage in a great location! Loved it and will be back.

Bar Lodge is just stunning. The accommodation and decor were both great but it was the views from every level that it made it so very special (and a very friendly and inquisitive robin). Being on the south west coast path, we were expecting good walking but the friendliness of the tractor and ferry guys and other locals we met meant every outing was even better. Annie was proactive and accommodating from beginning to end and the property was clean and beautifully presented when we arrived. Thank you, we can't wait to come back!

Stuart and hollys place was everything you could ask for in a holiday home. We had a meet and greet with stuart. There is a huge helpful information pack in the accommodation waiting for you. Which basically covers everything. Plus stuart was on hand with anything else we needed to know. We wouldn't hesitate in booking to return again next season. Off road parking was very good.

The Coach House is 5 STAR plus in every way. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, with a delightful kitchen, beaut appliances and full chefs knife set. Really wonderful house in stunning location. The views! Ideal base for exploring Dartmoor or the coast. If you can tear yourselves away from the house, terrace and garden. Bedrooms, bathrooms and living space perfect for six.

The most kind and friendly host and the most peaceful and beautiful house. Our family of four stayed for 3 nights and felt right at home. The house is full character, history and was also very clean, warm and cosy. Our gratitude to the host. We would recommend this house to all and would rate it very highly.

The garden was AMAZING. We trekked the back yard to the sea which was amazing for us but will not be for everyone, as it is a tricky walk through...but lovely. Like and endless fairy garden/forest. The local town was nice. lots of room in the home which would be great for larger parties as well. Everything was clean, beds/bedding were comfortable, had everything we needed, and we enjoyed ourselves. My favorite was the deck and the main floor bedroom window seat!!!!! With those side windows open, that window seat with a good cup of coffee or that deck with the same....priceless!!! But that garden....endless and beautiful.
