The house is exactly as described, and looks and feels very comfortable. A new house with great spaces, kitchen, appliances entertainment areas ( especially for kids. The lawn, grill, fire pit, and a very large lawn allows for lots of kid stuff running around etc. We very much enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and a glass of wine at night. My Merlin Bird app picked up 22 different birds in 20 mi and a flock of turkeys visited one morning. Beds were super comfortable with comfy pillows etc. Clearly the owners have spent a lot of time putting this together to make it a wonderful family getaway experience. The house in located on the far South end of the lake on the continuation of the Rock River so not on the main body of the lake, but certainly close enough. The dock is nicely done but the water at this location is quite shallow with a very muddy bottom, you may want to go elsewhere on the lake to swim but the pictures accurately portray the water view.

There needs to be a level beyond Super Host, like Extra Special Super Host!! Kelly & Scott would definitely qualify!! The Cottage is exactly as it appears on the airbnb site. What you don’t realize is just how comfy, cozy, quiet and peaceful it is. A quick 30 minute highway ride was all it took to connect with family in Madison this holiday weekend. When you live on water, it’s hard to do without the view. Not necessary with the Rock River right in the front yard here. Thanks for the perfect holiday weekend. Cannot wait to come back to The Cottage.

Wonderful home for a big family or group! Lots to do (if you’re not already busy!). The home has everything you need to rest, relax, and make killer meals. Madison is a quick 30 minute drive away as well. Highly recommend.

My wife and I really enjoyed this airbnb. We fully relaxed, enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets, beautiful - beautiful scenery. Caught some fish and cleaned them easily with the fish cleaning table. Any questions or concerns we had were answered in a very "quick" response time. When my wife and I left and evaluated our stay "We both gave this property and the host an "A++". "Thank You For The Blessing"!!! ...
