the Flat was perfect, exactly what we needed. ideal location for getting to Golden and more importantly, the activities we wanted to do near Golden i.e. the Golden Skybridge and Glacier (white water) Rafting being a short 15 min drive away. There is plenty of wildlife to watch from the balcony outside and pretty awesome sight to see the trains pass by so close. Train is a bit noisy but with windows shut we had no problem sleeping.

Nice and roomy, good breakfast and coffee. Just wish there were less mosquitoes.

We were so glad to find this place. It was a little out of Golden and in a very peaceful location with great views. The accommodation was incredibly roomy with a huge kitchen/dining area next to the living space. Brandy had clearly gone over and beyond in thinking through everything that would be useful to visitors. The facilities and equipment were exceptional and there were useful items of food (tea, coffee, spices and much more) as well as a load of cold drinks waiting for us in the fridge. As the listing explains there was only one bathroom/toilet but we coped fine with this arrangement. The train track nearby was a boon rather than a hindrance and it was lovely to watch the quiet, very long trains snake through next to the river. The location was stunning with Mountain View’s in all directions.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin of Tyler and Aimee. Especially our morning coffee on the patio with an incredible view of the mountains. Tyler & Aimee were very kind and helpful. Their cabin is really cute and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this cabin (if you are a light sleeper, a sleeping mask could be helpful because the sun rises early in summer).
