The Voorhuis of our national monument farm has been renovated into a fully luxurious suite with its own facilities. The original details, such as the high ceilings, the bedstee walls and even an original bedstee where you can sleep, have been preserved. No less than 65 m2 with a private kitchen, spacious living room and separate bedroom with free-standing bathtub. Toilet and spacious walk-in shower. With the option, at an additional cost, to use the hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower, you will be wonderfully.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. The house is located on the edge of the city center in a street without continuous traffic and is therefore very quiet; the associated garden offers absolute privacy. The house has a large living room, a large kitchen and a spacious bedroom, with bathroom en suite. In the space between the kitchen and bedroom there is a bunk bed. There is a separate toilet. The kitchen has all the comforts. There is WiFi throughout the apartment. Both the room and bedroom have a (smart)TV

Rural accommodation on the Frisian Elfstedenroute

Within walking distance of the center of Bolsward, on the Workumertrekvaart, the original Frisian Eleven Cities Route, is our rural farm. In this rural and water-rich environment, we offer you a spacious room, which is equipped with a large double bed, (2x0.90), TV/seating area and a completely new bathroom with Jacuzzi. Extra sleeping accommodation is possible. We have recently created this new space in our former cowshed, which is adjacent to our private home.

Farmhouse Okkingastate

Get away from it all? This is possible on our 200-year-old farmhouse close to the Wadden Coast and the eleven cities of Harlingen and Franeker. In the Voorhuis we have a spacious guesthouse overlooking the meadows, our cows and the old apple court. We work organically and as much as possible with nature. "De Mooie Liefde" Tiny house in Friesland.

Our "Mooie Liefde" used to be the horse stable belonging to the centuries-old farm in which we live. In 2020, we transformed it together with a lot of love and passion into a tiny house with an old lived-in look. The green staircase leads upstairs to the beautiful loft with a 180x200 bed, with a double mattress and a double sheep wool duvet. Under the loft, you will find the beautiful bathroom and kitchen.
