Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Nile

Walid was a great host, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. He was always available if I needed anything, but otherwise left to be at home - welcomed after a day exploring! The place was exactly what I expected, located on the West Bank, a very short walk from the public ferry. It offered some peace from intensity of the city. The secluded garden was a special place to start and finish days, feeling immersed in a more authentic Egyptian experience than I would get anywhere else. The Egyptian and Moroccan architecture makes for a fantastic experience, with domed ceilings and arches built into all the rooms, and some quite special bathrooms (I had a tour). My room was spacious, had plenty of places to spread out my things and all the modern features needed (AC, fridge, hot water, power sockets). Walid and his family have clearly put passion, energy and creativity into building this place and I really wish Walid success with future plans, which I hope to return and see.

Die Unterkunft von Tarik ist der beste Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung von West-Luxor, aber auch Luxor ist über den Nil gut erreichbar. Für uns war es der Ausgangspunkt für beide Seiten. Man sollte nur unbedingt mehrere Tage dort verbringen, um am Ort, der Umgebung und der Familie anzukommen und alles genießen zu können. Die Unterkunft ist das ganze Haus in Lehmbauweise, vollausgestattet, sehr stil- und liebevoll eingerichtet und mit Klimaanlage. Man kann völlig für sich sein oder in Anbindung und Verpflegung mit Tarik und der Großfamilie, die die Straße entlang wohnt. Für alle Tipps, Fahrervermittlung (Auto oder Tuktuk) kann man blind Tarik vertrauen, der mit Ruhe und großer Freundlichkeit alles für seine Gäste ermöglicht. Seine Familie ist sehr sehr herzlich. Hoffentlich können wir einmal wieder kommen!

An amazing stay with an unforgettable view! The place was just as described—clean, cozy, and perfectly located. The view was absolutely stunning and made our mornings and evenings extra special. Sharm el sheikh it’s a beautiful place, but staying on the Airbnb of Ileana was even more incredible, she and her husband were always so kind, the Airbnb includes a private beach (in sharm all beaches are private for hotels and their hosts and public beaches to pay) and it’s amazing, and also you have a lot of things nearby, like supermarkets, pharmacy’s, etc, and the farsha cafe is also like 5-10 min away by walking. The host always made us feel like home and they included beach towels which were very helpful. A 20/10 experience staying here, totally recommend.

Host was very responsive and kind. The villa looked like the pictures. The neighbourhood is very quiet. Not much to do in walking distance as of now. Enjoyable stay thanks to the host.

Truly one of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed at after being on the platform for 10+ years - Mahmoud's place is exactly like the photos look, and Mahmoud himself is the epitome of warmth and hospitality. I loved staying on the west side of the city - it was much quieter even while remaining convenient. The east side of the city is just a <10 min ferry ride across the river (and the dock is a ~7 min walk away from the Airbnb!)

We loved the place because it is very close to the compound gate which ease the walk to nearby restaurants. Also, you feel like staying at home in term of cleanness and organization. On top of that you get a warm welcome by the host. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend booking Alaa's home! His house is stunning, very clean, and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Alaa is an incredible host who will arrange all of your trips for you while you are visiting Luxor. The hot air balloon trip was our favorite experience, but Alaa also helped us go to all of the beautiful historical sites in the area. He was very helpful, friendly, and kind during our entire visit.

Micheal’s place is amazing. Literally very clean, moreover it is in the middle of Marina, so you don’t need to take your car to go Marina. Definitely coming back to it

My stay at Hostalita in Mokattam was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I booked, Nasir was incredibly communicative and helpful, making the entire process seamless. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, very comfortable, surprisingly spacious. I particularly loved the comfortable mattress ,the stunning views of the city on the terrace were magical The location in Mokattam was fantastic for whilst i explored the different restaurants nearby in maadi Nasir went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay, even when i checked in late, His hospitality was truly exceptional. I highly recommend Hostalita-Nasir's place to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and well-located stay in Mokattam. I would absolutely love to stay here again on my next visit!

Hôte très accueillant et très compréhensible qui n’ont pas hésité à modifier les horaires d’arrivée par rapport à notre billet d’avion. Ils nous ont aussi trouvé un transfert depuis l’aéroport et ils nous attendait pour nous accueillir à l’hôtel. On fait le tour du quartier avec nous pour nous montrer les petites épiceries, les meilleures restaurants, les petits activités, les numéros utiles et n’ont pas hésité à nous envoyer des messages pour nous demander si tout se passer correctement ou si on avait besoin d’aide. Pour un court séjour, l’hébergement est parfait.

My family and I had a great time whilst staying with Ahmed and his team. The flat is comfortably spacious with high ceilings and well equipped. Yosef’s breakfast is tasty and nutritious and he is supportive and welcoming. They are all so Nice we extended our stay. Ladies and gents what are you waiting for? Please Don’t hesitate to book these charming flatlets on the Westbank very close to the river Nile you wont be disappointed. The tours are excellent and Ahmed, Mohammed Ale and Yousef have great knowledge of their country and will make your stay a memorable experience.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! First of all, the location is amazing — it’s in a very quiet and clean area, which made it feel like a true getaway. The host, Peter, was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly helpful both before check-in and even after I checked out, which I really appreciated. The place itself is spotless, well-organized, and looks exactly like the photos. I also loved the thoughtful gesture of the complimentary snacks and water — it made me feel very welcome. I totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay. We absolutely adored Sherif's place, it felt so rustic and warm. The lighting was absolutely amazing and bright, it made the place feel warm and inviting. We really felt at home. The ambiance was lovely and we felt spoiled. The beds were so comfy with fresh clean linen. The shower had great water flow. The location itself was quiet and not overwhelming which is great in comparison in Egypt. We felt safe and were warmly invited by Sherifs friend. check in and check out were smooth. We loved the recommendations from Sherif also, was a lovely touch. Many lovely cafes within couple of min walking.

Perfect Spot in El Gouna This place was exactly what I needed. The condo was clean, quiet, and looked just like the photos. All the pool areas were beautiful and well-kept—great for relaxing any time of day. Everything was super convenient—laundry, a grocery store, café, and even a hair salon were just a 2-minute walk away. Made the whole stay feel easy and effortless. And the view of the Red Sea? That was the real treat. Peaceful, refreshing, and just what I came for. Check-in was smooth, and Mohamed was respectful and responsive. I’d absolutely stay here again. I’m a U.S. citizen, and this stay exceeded my expectations in every way!

Our stay at Maged’s place in Cairo was truly exceptional. Communication was effortless, with clear instructions and quick responses. Maged even helped us arrange a private car, which made our arrival smooth and easy. The apartment was spacious, spotless, beautifully designed, and had every amenity we could possibly need. The large balcony overlooked a famous mosque and offered a peaceful spot to relax. The gated property felt completely safe and secure. What made this stay truly unforgettable was the outstanding hospitality of Maged’s father, Mr. Mohy Elprince. His calm, kind, and generous presence made us feel instantly at home. He helped us with anything we needed, brought us delicious local Koshary, and even gifted us lovely souvenirs from Egypt. His thoughtfulness touched our hearts. Maged was also respectful, polite, and attentive throughout our stay. Thank you both for such a warm and memorable experience. We’ll always cherish it and definitely hope to return when we visit Cairo.

Superbe découverte ! Le logement de Osman est parfait pour des vacances. La résidence dispose d’une grande piscine et d’un gardien 24/24. L’appartement est propre, récent et très bien située. Osman est un très bon hôte. Il prend le temps et n’hésite pas à recommander des endroits !

My family had a great stay at Ineke and Azzab's place. West bank location allowed us to explore a more relaxed side of town, but still had plenty of walkable restaurant options. Super helpful in setting us up with a very good tour guide and hot air balloon. The house came with staff for transportation and breakfast (both cost extra, but well worth it for our family) that were excellent, helpful, and welcoming. Place was clean, secure, and comfortable with all the amenities we could need.

Samer was an excellent host and his home is beautiful!! He provided exceptional recommendations and was always responsive when I asked for his guidance. The view from his apartment was breathtaking, and everything inside the apartment was perfect; it was very clean, the linens were spotless, and it was spacious. There was a coffee shop across the street, great restaurants and shopping nearby, and transportation was easy to secure from the apartment location. I highly recommend booking Samer's wonderful home!
